  1. Cxracing mounts....

     

    Here is the run down. (PPictures in my build status) I had a problem with them not setting the engine all the way back. I also had a problem with them falling over....like one would push the other one and make my engine set weird. After about the 10th time going in and re tighting them up... I ended up just welding them to my 280z subframe. DoNE. Never had a issue sence.

     

    I highly suggest the wiring spec harness. I know it's some money...but differently worth it. I wired in 2x 1jzgte to other cars (240sx and a supra) neither I enjoyed doing... I have wired many rb series and Sr series engines. Cake compared to wiring a jz.

     

    Oh, and yes stock ecu, stock injectors at 10psi never giving me issues. It's daily drivable this way, BUT I would not go out to drift events like this. Hope you catch what I am implying. (I suggest tuning)

  2. Not sure yet. It's just a little gas beater that gets me around town.

     

    I think me and a buddy are moving to Japan sometime this year. So I might be selling the s30 when I leave =/ or before I leave.

     

    Anyways, the previous owner installed Subaru axles, and made these fine gem adapter plates. Needless to say, I am grinding them down now and really welding them...I am not welder, but I can weld better then this garbage.

  3. Honda civic 89 to 91 or whatever they stopped making the ef chassis.

     

    *it is not a bolt in deal!

     

    Requires trimming the Datsun blower housing.

     

    After triming, the bolt holes DO line up, and you can use the own Honda rubber!

     

    Love how much air it flows and how quite it is.

  4. I will have to measure it again. You're not the only one that asks that lol.

     

    As of right now, no tune. Garrett gt40 on 10psi, seems to be doing fine, but I do not get on it. Waiting for a buddy in Japan to source me a Apexi power fc. Ideally I would want aem, or ecu masters stand alone...but you know, limited only by money.

     

     

    Anyway, here is my couplers. =)

    Next parts I am getting is

    Id1000 injectors

    Aeromotive fpr

    Bigger fuel lines

    2x DW 350 inline fuel pumps

    1x daul fuel pump holder

    Fuel rail with an fitting welded in middle

    And...a apexi pfc.

     

    Should wake up this old 1jzgte. =)

  5. As far as the manifold goes, you can run the oem twins. I have this manifold, not sure who makes it, but it's PERFECT for a s30. Waste gate clears everything. I tried 3 different types before this one, all of which seemed to need modified.

     

    Ain't nobody got time for that.
