  1. Got my dash gauge out. Wasn't to bad. I measured I can install a 52mm or 2 1/16 gauges. I ordered some auto meter ones. I ordered water and boost. (Plan on getting tach, fuel, and rpm later)

    Got the "s2000" pulley mod from drift motion installed.

    Shorten up the shifter and got it all straight rather then bent.

  2. Put in the head sheild to protect my datsuns wire harness. I just cut it to fit.

    Then I got in my 1990 supra clutch Slave cylinder. Bolted right up. I am glad I don't have to fight that like the gas pedal. I used a 1990 supra steel Braided Clutch line, went right on to the datsuns hardline.

    Installed a Walbro 255 in line pump. Starts right up and revs! =)

    And next is my order from drift motion. A serpentine ac/ps delete kit, and a rear mounted oil dip stick.

  3. Furio. I noticed you said you got a WS harness. Be careful, it looks like 2 ground wires on the intake, but actually it's just one ground (one eye lid is actually bigger)and the other goes to the (+) terminal on the starter. Only problem I had really.

  4. I got it started today!

     

     

    Here is the video. I have no friends besides my z. So I made a zip tie throttle cable to start it =)

     

    Believe it or not...I didn't have to prime oil pump after setting so long. Also my old carburetor fuel pump ran the 1jz...kinda..

  5. Anybody have ideas on throttle cable?

     

    I pulled everything from a 240sx in hopes it might work some how.

    Also..I ordered a 1990 toyota supra 5 speed clutch line, bolts right into the oem 280z clutch line!

    If anyone has a 1jzgte rear sump oil dip stick assembly, I need it. Also a junk speed sensor. I just need it to plug the hole.

    I measured the drive shaft length to 37 3/4. Not bad. I will be using the stock supra drive shaft, and my stock z shaft. I am taking them to a local driveshaft shop to be made together.

     

    Next is to tackle the throttle cable,which is another can of shit to figure out. I got a nissan 240sx whole throttle system, hopefully I can make that work.

  7. Next up is welding my floor to support the trans mount proper.

     

    Today I pulled a whole 240sx throttle cable set up. I even drilled out the pedal support. So I should be able to bolt it all in where I want it.

    Here is a issue that I have with the cxracing mounts. Although I researched, most people don't have issues. I had to cut out my oem trans mount.

    Unfortunately my car had a 302 v8. So the last owner cut out my oem mounts! Arg...so I just put the engine where I wanted it. =)

  9. I already had a single set up, put it had clearance issue with waste gate I didn't want to deal with. So I went back twins.
