  1. I don't have one or any of them for that matter, but from what I understand the PS2 has about 10x more games than the others. Most of the driving games that are good are available for all 3. Doing some Xmas shopping for yourself? Tom
  2. They instructor should step up. Why is he driving all out if he is just showing the line. We all know where "redline" is Tom
  3. "I stripped one to see if I could hop it up!!" You can always tell a Hybridz'er when you see one Tom
  4. Wow! I'm not a fan of centerline wheels but some of those look sweet. No way you can beat the prices Tom
  5. dj, Its safe to say that I have never seen a fiero, nor will I ever see one that can hang with your car They aren't bad, but everyone knows that Z cars are classic's. The guy is a troll and he needs a Tom
  6. He's got the right idea! This shot says it all: Probably weighs less than a Z
  7. Thanks for clearing things up for me. I should be ok. Do you sell the 280z companion flanges/stub axles or should I go ahead and get a set. Also what cars do the stronger units come on? Is it just ’75 – ‘78z’s or can I get them from ZX’s ? I think the wheel bearings are compatible. If that’s the case you wouldn’t need to change them, but I think it would be the thing to do. Ross, we'll be in touch. Thanks for the help guys, Tom
  8. "Kinda makes you miss Goathead" Now that's funny. Another classic thread from another self proclaimed know it all! Tom

    cv axles

Another question I wanted to know while we are on the subject.... Is there any difference between the CV axles from Turbo cars or NA(2+2) cars or are all CV's in the ZX's the same? Luigi are you saying you used the short axle from each pair and it worked? I also have 2 pairs of CV axles. I'm sure 1 of the pairs is from an '83 turbo. The other pair looks the same and are the same size, but I have no idea what model they came off of. I will be getting the CV adapters from Ross in the next week or so and I want to make this as painless as possible!
  10. They always make the pictures look great and then when they build the thing it looks like crap. This picture is kicks ass IMO and I'm not really a ford guy. http://www.autothing.com/funthings/funthings-futuremustang2004.htm
  11. That car would be lucky to bring even 10K on ebay, IMO. Anything is possible, but for a carbed V8, I think it would be close. I wish I had 22k to spend on my Z, it would look a hellava lot better than that Anyway...A G-NOSE without flares is like "da cornflake wit out da milk" Peace Tom

    Nice or Rice?

I think the rims are cool, but they are not my style. I like the rims on a Z car to show the lugs (or at least the holes). Thats just me. I just got my rims from Japan this week. They are 15X7 and 15X8 and under 12 lbs each. They will bolt on to stock suspension. No tires yet, but you get the picture!
  13. That thing is as big as the front rim Looks like a 15" Regards, Tom
  14. Looks like a "Transformer". I keep waiting for it to turn into a robot and walk away. "All of the other Z cars used to laugh and call him names" If I saw it in my town, I'd run.
  15. I agree about some cars just being lemons. I had an '88 Jetta GLI with the 16V motor and it ran great up until the day I traded it. It had 287K miles and the last few years the odometer only worked half the time. The car was traded with the original clutch and the 5sp shifted great. That car also had some of the best seats I have ever seen or sat in. They were power Recaro's that came from VW. I'm still kicking myself for not taking them out before I traded it. They gave me $1000 for it towards my RL. I knew other Jetta's owners that had probs from the first few months and it went down hill from there. I guess I was just lucky

    Mike Kelly

Its only a matter of time. I think the police know more than they giving the press. There has got to be more than 1 person responsible. A driver and a shooter perhaps? Scary for sure. Tom

This shooter is getting kinda close to your home! How far away was this shooting from you today? They need to find this idiot and put him out of his misery.
  18. David, In my opinion your comment is very inappropriate. Maybe “no commentâ€, which was in your first response, would have been better.
  19. Sweet ride! Are those wheels Rikens or Ronals? Rare either way!!! Looks nice man tom
  20. Bet this thing sounds sweet coming across the water. Nothing like open headers 3 ft from your head http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1866672793

    D.U.I

Did you learn anything? It would be interesting to know how it affected your attitude towards DUI. IE: Did you do it again? If so, did you think about what the consequences were since you knew first hand? I can see a guy getting a DUI after a few drinks at dinner or whatever, but what gets me is these guys that get 5-6 DUI's and then kill somebody after that! I always thought that it was a slap on the wrist for a DUI unless you hurt someone, but that sounds rough as hell! If I got caught once there's no way it would happen again after that Not being a drinker/smoker, I guess I just don't get it!
  22. I owned a CRX in '86 (late). It was an '87 Si. I think the HF model was heavier than 1700lbs, but I may be wrong. I also think it would be heavier than that with a B20b and a turbo. Even if everything you posted was correct (and it may very well be!), that car would NOT run 10's. No way no how (without alot more mods),(money!!!) If it was as easy as "slap in a B20b and turbo" there would be 10 sec honda's on every corner and according to their owners, there probably is I'm sure there is a 10 sec honda somewhere, but I haven't seen one in person. However, I have seen many Stangs, Camaros (and Z's for that matter!). running in the 10's. Peace

    pimped exhaust

Just get 2.5 all the way back from a header. You can check MSA for the whole bolt on kit with muffler included. No fart pipe required. I have one of the MSA kits on my car now (installed by previous owner) and it sounds good. If I was closer to doing my swap I would let you have it cheap, but I like driving my car too much. Translation: A fartpipe would be whack, all your homies would hate it, but a nice header with 2.5 all the way back would be sick and phat, not to mention dope.
