Jim, If it is bumble bee's, you are ok. If it is a hornets nest, I wouldn't F with it. Those things are aggressive as heck. They are a little fatter than a wasp and have very distinct yellow and black stripes. They are not fuzzy like a bumble bee, they are shiny. If that is what you have, I wouldn’t even go outside when the exterminator does his thing. I was cleaning out some bird nest (boxes) a few years ago and I found them making a hive (or whatever they make) in one of them. I got the hose pipe and tried to move them along. Needless to say it didn’t work. Not only that, it seems like they remembered me every time I came out of the house. When they sting you they don’t die, they just sting you again and again and….you get the picture. It burns like a match is being held on your skin. It takes a good 2-3 days for the burn to go away. You are doing the right thing. t

I called on the $800 car and it is sold!! It was rough, you didn't miss anything. The guy with the 2+2 would sell it for less than $2800. I talked him down over $500 from that price. It's a sweet car, but I would hate to part it out. I may just wait. The guy said he wanted it to go to a Z person, so it would be messed up to cut it up. On the other hand........!!! t

I have a chance to buy a fairly nice 83 280zxt with 5sp. The car has 120k and runs great. Pulls nicely through all the gears. Doesn't leak anything. The only rust I could find is right behind the drivers door leading into the wheel well. It had new paint about 4 years ago (factory silver). The people really took care of it. It has some sweet 15" rikens on it with some older goodyears. The dash (black) is perfect. It comes with all the reciepts of work that has been done on it since new. The only drawback is that it is a 2+2. It has an aftermarket front airdam and headlight covers. Other than that and paint it is bone stock. I know if this car was parted (minus motor/tran), you could make out. Are there any drawbacks for using the 2+2 model as a donor for an early Z? The only thing I can think of is that the driveshaft may not work in an S30. Other than that, is there anything I'm missing? The other thing I'm thinking of is it would be a dam shame to part this car out, but the price is right! This car looks so nice, I would consider not even buying an early Z and just keep it if it wasn't a 2+2 You guys have any thoughts? t (edit) speel cheak lol

Rust Free = rust you don't have to pay for Not always, but 99% percent of the cars I have looked at that have 'no rust' have it. The other thing that you may want to be aware of is the year of the car. Are you going to have any smog or DMV issues in your state? t

Garry Frank said he watched the tape in Statesville Wednesday morning. He still wants to review other evidence collected by the N.C. Highway Patrol before releasing the tape. Frank said he had received several public records requests for the tape, including one from The Observer. Frank would not comment on his review of the case, other than to say it was routine for the district attorney's office to examine all fatal crashes, particularly those that involve police pursuits. The N.C. Highway Patrol has said its preliminary look at the video showed no wrongdoing by Troutman police Officer Keith Bills. Troutman police Chief Eric Henderson has said Bills followed the department's pursuit policy. The Highway Patrol considers the crash a "priority investigation," Sgt. Everett Clendenin said, and officers are continuing to try to piece together a timeline of what happened and which factors contributed to the wreck. Just after midnight Monday, Bills observed a 2001 white Dodge Intrepid weaving and speeding on U.S. 21. He followed the car for no more than 1.5 miles before turning on his blue lights and pursuing the car for about 15 seconds at about 100 mph before backing off, authorities said. About a mile south of Statesville, the Intrepid, with a small spare tire on the right rear wheel, ran off the road, struck a tree and landed upside down in a creek.
