when the car is overheating it is best to turn on the heater because it sucks the heat out of the engine compartment and blows it into the car....i have had to do this a few times with my dads old s10.. -
seattle requires emissions tests......also i have noticed that everything is alot less expensive in OR.....i like it here alot more than seattle....

ok so if i use a 81-83 tranny and the diff from my 78 will i be able to use the driveshaft from the 78 as well or will i have to get a different one?

yea i have the 78 5speed......and i feel that if i were to change the gearing i would screw something up......but after looking at the link that grayZee posted i think im going to try and get a 81-83 5speed....

ok i have tried searching but i couldnt exactly find what i am looking for, i have a 78 280z with a great engine and tranny with only 60k miles, a new clutch, but the frame is bent.....so what i want to do is try and get a 240z with a bad engine and swap my l28 into it....what im wondering is what transmission is better? should i stick with the 240z 4 speed or swap it with my 5 speed.... this has been bugging me for a while and some advice would be great Thanks Ryan

lol i meant the ugly ones.....a friend of mine has a 84 and he wants me to swap a ls1 into it.....
