MY 94 S-10 HAS THE 4L60E TRANSMISSION AND THE 93 HAS THE SAME.IT SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM HOLDING UP TO A MILD 350....THE 4L60E IS LIKE A TURBO 350 WITH OVERDRIVE AND THE 4L80E IS LIKE A TURBO 400...IN ORDER TO USE THE 4L60E TRANS YOU`LL HAVE TO GET SOME TYPE OF MODULE FOR IT TO RUN IN NON COMPUTER CARS. PLACES LIKE JET AND HYPERTECH HAVE THEM.THE TRANS IS A BIG THING WITH THE STREETROD SET..MARK

  2. hi all i have a question about guages.i want to replace the anameter guage in my 240 with a volt guage out of a 260.can i just connect the anameter wires or is there something else i have to do? i would hate to start a fire after all the work i did to the motor and frame.

     

    also if anyone is interested i bought a set of autometer guages that fit inside the bezle and cup making instalation in the dash a snap and the style looks factory.

  3. Im in the prosses of getting my drive shaft made and as i was looking through catolog for the neapco driveshaft adapter i saw quite a few adapters...so looking back at this i wondered has any one tried to adapt halfshafts to chevy u joints? the countersink ring is 1-3/4.

     

    im searching for alteretives since z`s are hard to find in my part of the woods.although i was able to find two r200`s out of state.thanks for the input.

  4. im in the prosses of building a 73 240z with a 400sb with the intent of some serious drag time.my question is what is the reaction of the car when a halfshaft u joint goes? does it damage the suspention, force the car left or right or just roll to a stop (open diff)? ive never raced a independant car before and would like to know what im in for. thank you for your imput im a new member and this site has been a huge help.
