  1. the injector clips are a little different from the stock nissan setup. i ended up using clips from an 02/05 v-w jetta or passat. the whole engine bay has about 15 that you can snip from. i had to shave a little from the sides of the female part on the injector base to keep the fit snug when plugged in.
  2. wow, i always figured that the stuff comming out of my tail pipe was too water like to be oil and was sure it was from a rich condition.

  4. i have several zx parts for sale . i have a new aar that i purchased and used for a few months before i swapped my intake manifold . let me know if you need pics. thanks, frank
  5. what are your rotation intervals ? on that vehicle if you have the 18's your should be rotating the wheels @ least every 5-6 k. also, your in fl .. summers are brutal on ultra h/p tires with 100 degree plus temps. are you still running the stock bridgestone or did it come w/ the conti's ? is it 225/40/18 ? you should look @ the mich pilot exalto pe 2..
  6. i have one p/m me. thanks, frank
  7. i would jump on the roger offer.. ! not a bad price and runs cooler than just the oil cooled unit. !
  8. i just went through the same problems w/ my 77 w/ a-c .. here is what i used, along w/ a cable operated valve that was a push to close. http://www.4s.com/Online%20Catalogs-eCatalog/Content.aspx part # 74614 i am pleased to say that my system works GREAT now. and no leaky.
  9. juan .. i would just go w/ the stock zx actuator the stocker will work just fine w/ a mbc from ebay for $ 15.00 . pm me if your interested .
  10. nice and clean ! cant beat "sorta free" especially w/ a Z ..
  11. what year z do you have ? and are you asking if the honda needs to be a/c or not ? if so ,,, yes get the blower from the honda w/ an a/c. good luck. but fyi .. ive done that upgrade and have since moved to the maxima blower for my 77 w/ ac and heat. works GREAT.. do a search for big phil's post on this particular swap.
  12. +1 on the noid light .. napa sells them part # on the unit i bought was ( 510599 GM PFI )
  13. wow -garvice , that looks GREAT !! nice skills ..
  14. i run the 87 maxima 90amp unit on my 77. works great, also i believe blues tech tips @ atlantic z will show you how to jumper the wires for the conversion on the internal voltage regulator.
  15. sorry, i did not notice your using the same unit. answer is yes.
  16. i run the jwt set up . you will have to swap the maf sensor for the cobra, and other than that, u will need the z31 chopper wheel inside your distributor if you car ran before the jwt ecu swap , you are good to go.
  17. you can also check the zx radiator hose. it has a different bend . take the old hose to your local parts house and check to see if that will work.
  18. what year wire harness are you using ? if its an 81, you take an all blue wire will connect to the - coil (that is in the same loom as the yellow/white stripe that connects to the ignitor ).. then from inside the car find the rectangular resistor that is mentioned above the light green wire will have a tach signal. the other way is to locate the original tach wire that is inside the engine bay already (if you haven't hacked it up. ) and just re connect the wire to the coil. if my memory is correct , that wire is all blue as well. hope this helps.
  19. humidity yes.. salt content not really (or maybe im used to it already). your in Co right ? you will notice that the summers are brutal (100 plus degrees) , and unless you have the "old school's" air condition units "tuned" up , it's not really an enjoyable ride in the hotter months during the day w/ traffic (july, aug , early sept ) .. my cars all hold up well, no rust and such.. the only special care i give is the car cover / windshield sun visor to help combat the u/v rays and lock in heat for the interior. other that that ... coolant flushes are a must every few years (to be preventative ) and evac / recharge for your a/c tunes. oh, and if your hard on your tires , they will wear faster in the summer months. i can tell you that i have lived here 27 yrs and love the city and state , however i have family in Co and have visited off and on for the past 8 yrs, i would love to live in the loveland/ denver/ ft collins area for the climate/ scenery. what part of h-town are you looking @ moving to ?
