  1. Isn't that offset a bit high? Are you running spacers? What are you going to use for a cetercap?
  2. Q #1... I would say check the date of production the 260 was only made in late 1973 and 1974(please correct me if I am wrong ) and the 240 late 1969 to late 1973(same thing ), but you would think there would be and emblem on the car somewhere wouldnt you? Or is it in that bad of shape? Q #2.... I would say the frame rails and especially under the floor boards infront of the seats. That's my $.02 and good luck with your conversion!!!

  6. I have a 93 LT1 and T56 and I am changing it over to MAF from SD. I need to know if I need to connect any of the sensors to my tranny? There is like 3 maybe 4 connectors on the transmission and I can figure out what they are, can someone tell me what they are? Thanks
  7. I didn't get it from a supplier, I bought it off of Ebay. I am not really conserned with getting it fixed but if it is an easy fix then I will. Anybody got any idea how to fix it?
  8. I just upgraded my 85MPH speedo to a 130MPH speedo and now my cruise control doesnt work. My car is a 1980 280ZX. The only thing different between the speedometers that I can see is that my old one had more wires than the new one does. It's the red one and green with a black strip. Is that why my cruise doesn't work? And if so what can I do if anything to fix it? Thanks
  9. Hey VR thats a good idea. Now that I think about it I have that program at school. I am at Fox Valley Tech for Automotive Technology and we use that for all the cars we fix. I think I will print those schematics out!!! Thanks for reminding me.

I need to know what sensors or wiring are going into the automatic tranny and what sensors or wires are going into the manual transmision? Thanks a lot again!
  11. I have the Haynes manual but it shows the wiring schmatic for 93-95 engines and not much else on the tranny(as far as I saw anyway). Thanks, Guy

  14. Hey Mark, I know that the 93 is SD that is why I am swithcing to the 94-95 harness and computer. So that I can reprogram my computer as needed, but thats for all the help. So what I got so far is that it will work but I will have some extra wires. It's that what you guys are telling me? Thanks a lot guys!!!
  15. I have found a wiring harness for my 93' LT1. It's out of a 94' LT1 but it is from a auto tranny car and my set up is for a T56. Will this wiring harness work? Or is there different connectors for the auto tranny? Thanks a lot guys!
  16. I would rather not take out my fuel tank and put in a camaro one. But if all else fails I'll think about it! Can anybody else help?
  17. This may sound stupid but have you made sure that ALL the air is out of the system? Bang on all the hydralics lightly to make sure you get all the air bubbles out. Just a thought
  18. What do I have to do to my fuel system to make a 93 LT1 engine work in my car? Do I have to put in new bigger lines and new fuel pump or is the ZX pump strong enough? I am planning on a little over 400HP at the crank for a power goal. Thanks Guy G.

  22. Hey Mark, where can you get that upgraded Optispark from? I have a 93 LT1 engine also and it has about 90K on it I want to replace the optispark before I put it in the car. Also how much is this upgraded Optispark unit? Thanks , Guy
  23. Hey Mark, what is the part number on those headers? Also how is that ceramic coating holding up to corosion? Are they chrome, silver, or black? Thanks a lot guys!!! I dont know what I would do with out this forum!!!
  24. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if Hypertech Power Programmers are as good or better than LT1 Edit? Do they both do the same thing? I need to delete the VATS on my computer can the Hypertech do this? Also which one is easier to use? Do you need any special equipment for either of them? Thanks for all the help!!!
  25. I was wondering where I can get some chrome headers for my 93 LT1. I have a ZX so I would assume that they would need to be hooker headers? I cant find any for the LT1's though can someone give me a website or company that sells them? Thanks a lot guys!
