Also im planning on using a 4 wire bosch o2 sensor. but im puzzled as how to wire it up. two white wires, these are for the o2 heater and go to 12v+ one grey wire, this goes to ground and one black wire, this is the signal wire to the MS any thoughts, ive looked but havent found any specific or 100% truthful info.

If I was to post a copy of my msq. file would anyone be kind enough to go through it and check for any issues. I dont want to try and start the car and some how accidentally pop the motor lol

ok i just went outside and swapped the wires around, and kaboom just like that.. I have SPARK! do you still think i should put in the 1N4003 diode just for safe measure?

ok so if pin #9should be connected to ground via a 1N4003 diode, does that mean that pin 4 should just go to ground itself?

well I have tired the wires both ways. and at the moment, i dont even have the alternator in the car. I will try reversing the wires yet again and see if does anything.

well i have not gotten out the timing light as of yet.. I have an inline spark tester, and I have yet to see it light up. by the spout connector I mean what I have circled in red. I have pins 1 and 3 wired up to my MS harness. but the unit has yet to be plugged into the car. i know i have 12v at the module, the coil and the ground capacitor. I have all 3 of my coils wired accordingly. I do have the polarity of the VR sensor wires reversed currently because i have my sensor mounted backwards. I dont know if thats going to end up being my problem or not. like I said I dont know what to do next.

Ok well lets start from the beginning. I have a trigger wheel setup purchased from derek here on the forums. basically im just trying to make sure my wiring is all correct. Ive pulled the spout plug hoping to put it into limp mode. Ive tried switching the vr sensor wires 3 times. ive plugged in 3 different edis modules. ive wired it per the megamanual. if I have the moduel grounded and it has power, if I pull the spout connector I should have spark during cranking correct? ive even pulled apart the entire vr sensor wire and re-shielded it. still im having no luck. I dont know what to try next! I have yet to even bring the MS near the car as im still trying to verify wiring and dont want to mess anything up.

I completely agree. maybe someone is daring enough to a tempt a s130 car? hehe

I have a bunch of projects going on around here. soon to be starting a rb20 in a s14. im debating if i want to put an lsx in my 540i. it would be nice to hang out with a fellow zed owner. thanks for all the kind words everyone. things are starting to come along finally. although im having problems with my edis. i know that if i pull the spout connector it should go into base timing. but i still cant get a spark outa this thing. idk what i did wrong.

i accidentally dropped the factory one.. and of course it cracked in half.. i happened to have that laying around the garage.

yea i agree i need to make the mount cover that jdm logo or something. so for the factory efi. i have left that behind, and am now using MSII

if you have it, might as well send it. it might come in handy. you never know.

no it does not matter what year car, as long as the tb linkage is there.. highlighted in the red box, i need the factory linkage piece from a stock TB. if you have it i will gladly pay you for it

thanks alot, its all starting to come together finally..

as you can see the TB still has the 240sx throttle linkage on it. I need the same peice, just off of a Z throttle body so i can use my factory linkage. if you have one, or an entire TB ill take it.

well alot has happened, ive cleaned up alot of the motor, installed new gaskets through out. got my throttle body all setup, but still need to find a stock Z pivot arm. I some how lost it. Got my intercooler just about all done. waiting on a few silcone coulpers to get it all finsihed up. spray painted the valve cover real quick. got all my wiring done, my edis all setup. so onto the pictures.
