  1. nevermind. its the interior out of a z31..
  2. why have i never seen that style interior before? the dash, door panels, center console. its all different. was it an anniversary thing? http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a150/Bandit240/Misc%20Datsun/IMG_0504.jpg
  3. yep. the n/a uses the reluctor inside the dizzy housing. the 81 zxt uses a crank trigger setup. similar to the setups used in megasquirt. when i was swapping my car late last summer. i had the same issue. now i find myself in a megasquirt conversion, go figgure. good luck hope you find it.
  4. id just do a l28et setup. but maybe you feel the need for a dohc.. i know one day i will.. but not until i blow up the l28 hahaa
  5. i didnt know Banks made exhaust manifolds for a SBC.. where did you happen to come across those... this might help out a good friend of mine
  6. yea thats all they are. but one side is larger to cover the opening on the manifold. i would for sure be interested in one. heres a picture for reference.
  7. the parts look great. id for sure be interested in the mount, hub, and dodge coil pack mount. maybe it would be beneficial for you to offer all 3 parts as a package or kit? either way count me in for a set.
  8. it will not work on the 280zx ecu. it has been done using a 300zx ecu. there is a write up on here. the search button is key.
  9. i have one from a 80' N/A car that is in near perfect condition. like they said 10 bux..
  10. this has been covered quite a few times.. use the search button.. trust me its there..
  11. i just like the bolt on design for an EDIS application. what CAS did you use? and what yr distributer body did you use? im curious because id like to do something similar.
  12. im not sure what thread i saw this in. but im almost sure someone took a cam sensor off a z32 i believe and adapted it to work with a l28 dizzy body.. would this not be the same concept? and i think the parts would be alot cheaper and more available..
  13. any interest in making one for the 280zx?
  14. ♥♥♥♥ id buy some and just have you ship them too me.. just out of pure knowledge that it is a Z candy.. haha
  15. it is all seamless.. thats what i like about it.. and the paint reflects that... i think its awesome.. the exhaust behind the front wheel is a nice touch also...
  16. thats true.. i just like the idea of a dual cam motor.. i swapped in a l28et with a MS II setup.. still in the process of getting the mega squirt up and running..
  17. you can get a rb20 swap for around 1100-1300 bux.. thats what id do..
  18. i didnt see it listed on their website. do they offer such a part?
  19. I cant seem to find one. I called Arizona Z car, and i was basically told that they are all out, and do not plan on making anymore for awhile. so where else can I get one? will just any spacer off of ebay work? as in this one for example. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-Throttle-Body-Spacer-93-98-Nissan-Altima-2-4L-240SX_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33558QQihZ006QQitemZ160279074477QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
  20. i think there would be way to many teeth, or they would be really spaced apart. which would translate into a weak signal IMO. but would be worth looking into
  21. thanks for all the input everyone. now im just waiting on my TB spacer from ArizonaZcar so i can mount my 240sx TB.
  22. I am nearing completion of my megasquirt install, but i have some questions as to where to mount my CTS, and my IAT sensor. as for the IAT i would like to mount it where the cold start injector used to be. just drill and tap for it. but i am unsure if the sensor can be after the Throttle body or not. if not i will drill and weld a bung on the factory J pipe. as for my CTS, there are 3 possible locations, there are 2 in the thermostat housing, and the one on the cyl head. which location is everyone using?
  23. in my experience, i have a 80' n/a car, and used a 81' turbo tranny. the differences were the input shaft spline count, and the rear pinion flange bolt pattern. so i just swapped the rear flange and had no issues..
