  1. I know I'm a little late to the party and all, but that's one of the funniest things that I've read in a while. Good stuff.
  2. Wow, there really are some great pics in here. I'm definitely not up to the level that a lot of you seem to be, but here are some that I've taken with an old kodak digi. This place I just stumbled upon while going on a little sunday cruise.
  3. Wow, if that dash were black the ep3 seats would look perfect in there. Good stuff man (all of the pics).
  4. Is awesomest a word? I mean, I can't think of anything else.. Wait, since accuracy is always job #1 on the interwebs, I'll call it gnarly. FWIW, I think I saw the whole left side of that body kit mounted on the roof of a civic hatchback the other day. Biggest wing ever.
  5. I know this is an idle thread, but a big thanks to the op for writing this up. I plan on getting the autometer nexus to replace all the gauges in my 280zx and it's great to see what I'll have to do to mount them instead of going at it blind. If this forum had rep I would rep you.

    Swapping interiors?

I was just reading an article on the history of the z car over on edmunds.com and that same thought had gone across my mind. I really like the interior of the z's too. Oh well, I'll be just as happy when they start making those 5" nexus'. Oh btw, I love your car man. Very clean.

    Swapping interiors?

Anybody? I just searched again and I came up with a lot of threads on custom center consoles, but none about swapping an older z center console into a zx. I'll check back in and check the thread here in a bit.. Hopefully someone will have a few answers. Feel free to point me towards any other site that you think might help answer my questions.
  8. First off, I searched and came up with nothing (which shocked me to say the least). I was wondering if the center console and dash from older z's would fit into a 280zx. As far as the center console goes I really don't like the wide radio spot in my 280 and would be much happier with an older setup. The reasoning behind wanting to change the dash is similar, I really like the gauge setup in the older z's and would eventually like to change it up. I'm pretty positive that I won't be doing anything to my dash until autometer starts making 5" gauges in their nexus line, but I would still like to know anyways. Thanks in advance.
  9. That's awesome. The other day I was watching That 70's Show and noticed a z-car in the background (when the kids were at the local eatery).
  10. I hope you don't mind if I post this over on a forum that I'm a mod on (www.8thcivic.com), I don't know of any other way to help find the douches that did this. [edit] Done. http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/california/69349-hamton-blowers-car-trailer-stolen-if-youre-cali-please-open.html If you can think of any other way that I might be able to help don't hesitate to ask, all of us at 8thcivic will be happy to help.
  11. A buddy of mine did a rattle can job on his srt4 wheels. What he did was sand them down until the clear coat was completely gone. After that he sprayed them down with a few coats of black & then a few coats of clear. Rims still look good until this day, except for one because he was really smart and tried to clean it a couple of days later and it hadn't completely cured yet (I guess that's why). Hope this helps a bit.
  12. A little off topic but.. That's quite the collection you have there z tard. As soon as I saw that chopped z I was thinking the same thing.. I'm one of the few younger people that actually have good taste in music, lol.
  13. this might be a worthless bump, but I'm gonna try anyways. I would also like to see some white/black setups.
  14. That really is nice. I'm not too sure about the new nissan logo up front and everything, but other than that it looks great IMO. That's my worthless contribution to this thread
  15. How much for the ignition switch & lock cylinder shipped to 76108? Thanks
