So do you have any final pics for all those looking to get one later. I have had 5 people asking me about that 200zr pan I had and I directed them to come on here and check out your work.
I'll get some pics in a few. I scratched the paint and I wanted to repaint it. Just wanting for the paint to dry.

Still looking
thanks

I may have some that will work for you.
Email me at L28240z@yahoo.com if you still need them.
Thanks!
Richard

27mm I believe. a 1" socket would be 25.4mm so if that almost fits than its gauranteed that its a 27mm
you are correct, it is a 27mm

looks great. I had a turbo toms set up about 13 years ago and loved it. It was a suck through system. I wish I never sold it.

So with a big oil pan and more oil will that prevent that problem I heard about with RBs once they get to a certain horsepower. I heard that RB25 usually throw a rod around 500 and Rb26 around 600 with stock internals. Or is that a some type of tuning issue and not associated with the amount of oil flowing around the engine.
I don't know about the fact that more oil will pervent the engine blowing up at high hp but I think with more oil in the pan will pervent the oil starvation problem.
Here are some pics of the progress I did tonight

Oh is that template any help at all. I was thinking about taking a pic with my camera the exact size then using that. I was trying to do that with the pic up top I was getting close but not exact.
the template worked great. I used your template and the photos you gave me. No worries

thanks man. This project has been alot of fun, I really enjoy doing this. I don't have much left to do. It should be ready very soon.

so pat1 all i need to send you is the Rb front stump oil pand the pick up and the money you charge and you will make it into a rear stump? Could you do it to the Rb25 pan?
Motoman all I need you to send me is the pan and pick up. I don't collect the money until the job is done. I will make your pan look just like RKlamb123's pan. The rb25 pan will work with no problems. The pan you have is the steel pan correct?
-
Oh do you still need that template. I could edit that pic I posted up top to the exact size and email it to you. That would work out better than any cardboard.
that will work, my email is p.bowser@comcast.net
did you ship your pick up yet?
I can do the motor mounts also
-
Wow pat1 your doing a great job on that pan i know who i might ask to build my pan once i get my engine.
Tell us that you think RKLamb123 once you get the pan an drive with it for a little while.
thanks motoman. Just let me know when your ready.
I worked on the pan alittle more today. I added alittle more depth to the pan for alittle more oil. As soon as I get the pick up I can fab it up and add baffles and show the finished product.
-
I saw your link. The pick up should not be a problem. As soon as I get your pick up I can fab it up and finish it. Your very welcome. I think you will be very pleased with this pan. I love doing this kind of work.
How much oil do you want the pan to hold?
If anyone else needs a pan, please let me know
