  2. Any site member with know how on this type of transaction , the site that I am negotiating Is >> tradecarview << seems like a doable and safe transaction . Any member with The 25 Year Import rules by EPA/DOT info will be welcome.
  3. There has to be more LS1/Z;s out there , share the bad and the good
  4. ^^^^ Good to see that Z's with a transplant are bringing good money. and yes the $$$$$$ is in the details plus with quality work/parts used .
  5. My Z also has a super clean under carriage , showing it might encourage more $$$$$$
  6. It was in Florida listed by private seller in October and now in New Jersey listed by dealer, the same car now flipped
  7. Now the price tag is at 26 k ,
  8. I agree, the more info on the mods will be a plus to a potential buyer at that coin .
  9. I recalled a very similar Z but not with an LS1 mill .
  10. Check this out >>>>>> http://www.ebay.com/itm/301471266785?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT looks like a well sorted conversion, lets see where the price tag goes on this one.
  11. Wow an old thread , but very valid points, these conversion are not for all audiences , MULA and lots of it
  12. Look at this Civic, >>>http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Civic-CVCC-1978-honda-cvcc-civic-89-k-garaged-exceptional-original-condition-low-reserve-/281539581160?forcerrptr=true&hash=item418d1114e8&item=281539581160&pt=US_Cars_Trucks check it out.
  13. ^^^^ The JDM is a popular term given to old Civics , it has the semi old Nippon look and not many around , I know as many here what JDM means . As far as the rusting an old tin can , this one has the dealer rust inhibitor ,came from the Washington DC/ Baltimore area( also where I reside ) where salt is not in abundance . My Z is in her dorm during the winter months and my 14 Stang is a pain in the a$$ to wash in the winter , so a dedicated car is at play.
  14. Got this 89 CIVIC , one owner with only 77K miles, clean little driver with no RUST , it will be taged with MD Historic plates >>> The Official 2014/15 WINTER BEATER
  15. A nice standard feature on these Nippon Classics , got to luv them
  16. The "ITCH" came to hunt me again . But this past Wednesday when driving ZVETTE to her winter dorm I realize that she is a wicked vice, like a TOXIC woman that one day you want her next to you and the next day you want her out . Here I am next to my beast and holding a scale die cast model >>>> a VICE For sure . She will be missed in the coming cold/wet/salty days but as soon a Spring arrives the vice will came alive.
  17. Rust is a cancer on these tin cans , salts and harsh weather kills them , sad to hear that your is gone. Keep an eye out there, that magical Z is in the horizon . As an old Nippon elder once mention " Claiming a Z in the heart will bring one to love ".
  18. Check this out >>>> http://autos.aol.com/article/will-copyright-law-stop-you-from-working-on-your-car-in-the-near/?icid=maing-grid7%7Cmain5%7Cdl18%7Csec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D572844
  19. Neat project, in Scandinavia is that type of mill popular in sourcing like an LS1 in the US? . Keep us informed
  20. Guys thanks for the above, all good points. The coin is tempting , but on what will be a replacement is a very foggy territory . The 70's was a fun era in my life and the Z is very nostalgic . I like to attend car events and admire old Europeans motor cars that are well kept. My mechanical abilities are limited but do like to tinker and I do the basics stuff on my cars. So yes I will desist on this "ITCH" and keep my BEAST in beauty contest shape( no issues with her health) . She needs at the moment a skin treatment , she is getting some hair line minute cracks on the 20 plus yr old paint . So now my dilemma is to keep her patina and treat her as a MILF with minor flaws or take her to the magic surgeon .
  21. As I see lately a lot of real clean Z's on the net for sale at crazy coin, from resto/moded to trailer queens specimens , I have an ITCH / DILEMMA on my brain ? . What to do, sell it for good money now or just keep a well sorted Z that I do enjoy to a point. I have lots of fun with it, love the attention it gets at local AM Gas and Coffee Meets and Car Shows, enjoy driving it on week ends in fair weather, but seems that boredom is an issue . WHAT TO DO
  22. Yep 2.67 in Laurel MD >>>> ENJOY THE RIDE , but in the winter is in my STANG
  23. This coming Sunday my beast will go to her dorm, so my DD is the only mode of transport >>>
