  1. Not on the 280 the 10" is for the 2+2 cars. I bought one when i could not get the 8.5 and it was a noticeable difference out of the box for sure.
  2. the 10" booster will bolt right up and is a noticeable improvement over the 8.5
  3. Take a measurement from the bottom of your balancer to the top of the steering rack to determine the difference. I have mine mounted about a 1/2 inch lower than Bruces car with no issues. I have put right at 10K miles on my car mostly street and hwy miles. I wanted mine lower for track days and autocross. Grab a measurement when you can.
  4. i think it's comparable with the others. Bruce's car has a 10% overdriven crank pulley for the magnacharger and it clears the steering rack. look and see how much room you have between your pulley and rack so we can determine if higher or lower.
  5. In reference to the upper hose in most applications the hoses need to be on opposite sides, otherwise the coolant would not flow across the radiator and have ample time to cool. If they were on top of each other the coolant would just go straight down and out with no efficiency. There are a few exceptions with custom radiators.
  6. Here is a link to his build. You can see his mounts and headers in detail by looking through the pics. http://forums.hybridz.org/gallery/album/1376-fullmetaljacket280z/
  7. you are correct 26 whp isn't a lot but your girlfriend said they were sexie
  8. we have one with a fresh lq4 and turbo 350 trans that we would sell
  9. yes there is welding involved but if you have someone or the ability to utilize this I think it's the best option versus something bolted to the floor. End result is a strong mount that will tie the car together as well.
  10. Look in my photobucket to see pics of the hoses installed http://s591.photobucket.com/user/shupaye1/library/280Z%20pics?sort=3&page=1
  11. I really wish some pictures of their mounts would be released. Seems kind of weird to have a product like this and not make pictures or information available for people to view. Here is a link to my photobucket page look through and you can see the mounts http://s591.photobucket.com/user/shupaye1/library/?sort=3&page=0
  12. Yes same dyno. everything the same less headers and had to change frint exhaust section to 3" dhe to increase n collector size.
  13. unsure if they will fit with JCI mounts but they fit great with his mounts which I think are very sexie versus other available mounts. Fir the record my car made 348 rwhp with sanderson shorties and with these longtubes it made 372 rwhp on Bruces dyno. We had to add more fuel because my car went from 10.8-1 air/fuel at WOT down to 16-1 which is an indicator of the tremendous air flow gains. Worth every dime IMO
  14. These look similar to the Hawks 3rd gen set-up they are simple and free up tons of room
  15. Guess I'm a hoarder I bought 3 sets:-)
  16. Thought id share the link its a common size for S30 cars with 16" wheels. Its a killer deal at $74.50 each shipped http://m.ebay.com/itm/201006374405?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1
  17. the jci compressor mount serves the purpose but is a little dated .There are many options available now that are much more appealing. no offense to anyone using them just more options now
  18. U can certainly use the factory harness it just depends how nice and clean u want your engine bay. I've done it both ways and its just cleaner with an affordable aftermarket harness period. Ill look and post a link to the one I've been using for reference
  19. To answer your question I wiuld recomend going on ebay and buying a generic stand alone harness. A guy n Kentucky sells one for $450 that looks and works great and is idiot proof. If u have any questions feel free to text or call me at the above number
