hot glue works great too ...but for those lil pieces that like to pop out.. i used crazy glue...

i belive that the cowl is from jc whitney and was made for an american car... he just grafted it to the ZX hood...

oh man.... i was just checkin out that issue of super street with his car in it too... i know his pain... ive had my Z taken from me just last year... but i was lucky they didnt take anything... just took her out for a joy ride... lets just hope that thats what they did with his....

i went to a auto paint store to get some vinyel interior paint... found some paint that matched the gray that used on my seats and door panels...

i wonder if the mitsubishi eclipse headlights will fit in there.... i think that car looks pretty good!!!!

the color they used on eleanor (1967 Ford Mustang GT500) from gone in 60 sec.. now thats a sweet color.. i was thinking of painting my car that color when i was picking out colors for my car....

im not too sure what car they came out of... but theyre old school recaros.. i know that they were made in the 80s... i have a friend that worls for the city dumps and someone threw them away.. so he sold the pair to me for $100... they needed to be reupholstered and i called around for prices.. i found a place that did it for $150 a seat... not a bad deal if you ask me... i used the origional slides from the 280ZX seats and made brackets to attach the recaros to.. by the way... they feel as good as they look...

hey bill heres some pics of my interior.Momo steering wheel and shift knob Recaro Seats reupholstered and door panels reupholstered as well. the dash is afull dash cap and painted ot match the gray vinyel on my doors and seats.. also i reupholstered the rear panels as well with the same gray vinyel material...

i paid $150 a seat..$85 a door panel and $140 for the entire back including my speaker box and refabing a new quarter interir panel..

those are recarros.. when i got them they were pretty messed up.. so i had them reupholstered...

man you can reupholster everything in your car..i just had my entire back portion done on my car and it didnt cost me much either.. even if your plastics are cracked you can get them covered with vinyel of any color you want.. or you can go get some good panels from the junk yard and paint them with vinyel paint...

i know your pain man... last year my Z was stolen in front of my driveway... they found it 3 days later in union city ca... the punk a$$ took it out for a lil joy ride and trashed it a lil bit.. i was lucky and unlucky at the same time i guess.. i got my car back in one piece... the guys that took my car wasnt really intrested in what i had in it... more intrested in the lil joy ride they had.. but im jsut glad i got it back
