  12. LOL yea did that pulled darn near all the interior out trying to find something including spare tire ,tools and jack.seems to me its in the control arm still looking any any more help will be greatly thankful.
  13. well gland nut seemed tight,sway bar holding -food for thought-if I jack it up and smack the bottom of the lower control arm it makes a tinny sound unlike the other side any clues?

  15. sorry just found this Jon's tip is great, be careful after doing that check when removing the zap strap to avoid nicking the strut insert cylinder surface. I've typically suggested pushing your bump stop to the bottom for similar test if you have a bump stop installed and accessible. Find out if you're bottoming on the springs/strut's or if a gland nuts loose. The big nut holding your strut insert inside the strut tube (gland nut) can come loose and be quite annoying to trouble shoot. Not common but does occur. Jarring noise and often sensation depending on how loose it's come.
  16. yea i took the cover off bounced the car nothing moving but you say put a wrench on it to see if tight?or where is it sorry so dense but this is the first car with this type of strut but thanks for the help
  17. did the search it don't make it under acceleration or deceleration just when I go over like a road reflector and only the right side not the drivers side and fast slow don't matter sounds like someone with a hammer smacks the floor pan any ideas what to look at point me in the right direction please-it's a 75 280

  21. I am in agreement with the above two-too many hood vents and go a Lil more subdued on the air dam openings but just my thinking color will help though.
