hey there, im also planning on swapping my s30 with a l28et. I just bought a 82 280zx turbo last week and it runs flawless! Im planning on starting the swap somewhere during december. PM me and ill keep you posted on my progress!

so your saying your friend unplugged the wires? Im not too sure but I the battery should be connected to the starter. Im not good with electrical stuff so Ill check my manual and let you know asap about which plugs into where.

It's from a Honda s2000 bro. I believe the early s2000 came f20 the newer is f22.

When I did the mm conversion on my 260 I had a similar problem with my right caliper. The rotor kept scraping on the caliper so i just grinded it down a bit and now it doesnt grind at all. Not sure if it was the RIGHT thing to do but it sure fixed my problem.

I have a l26 w/ block and head laying around. Don't know f you want it but you can have it free of charge just pick it up. I'm in Fresno.

I dont want to rebuild my duals, it seems kinda hard so Im in need of the single carb intake manifold [clifford, bob sharp, etc]. I would prefer it with the carb already on it. I finally bled my MC today. My car brakes better now. (unlike before) I only drove it up and down the drive way but I can already tell the difference.

Maybe you should cut some holes to show where you will be mounting the gauges.

yes it will. I do recommend it. They look great and the MM parking brake adaptor hardware bolts right on the parking brakes to the 240sx calipers. I have the 14" rims on mine and only had clearance issues with one wheel so i just grinded alittle on top of the caliper, you shouldnt have any problems with the 15" wheels.

I guess it also depends on what prop valve you use. I talked with crazyoctopus w/ his build and he said it was basically plug and plau just had to buy some line. 12 bucks worth I believe. Anyways, thanks JMortensen. Did you also use the prop valve from modern motorsports?

Hey guys, I have discussed proportioning valves with a few of my friends and some say that the wilwood is a direct bolt on to my vehicle. [later 74 260z] Now I have argued with them over and over about this because I have read about it for quite some time now. On the Modernmotorsports site it says it will fit on Male M10x1.0 IF to another Male M10x1.0 IF but if Im correct the factory fittings are M10-1.25 IF. Now I am confused. I know there are other discussions about prop valve but can someone just tell me if it is direct or not. I want to end this discussion with my friends once and for all.

I realized that it will only be for a few seconds but if I remember correctly it only takes 1 psi to make a difference. Besides its just for fun. =]

Yeah I was thinking about using it on my buddy's 3 cylinder geo metro. I stepped on the accelerator full throttle and it went practically no where. Took forever to reach highway speed. Lmao. Anyways thanks for all the replys guys. I didn't think it would work but its just an idea.

I agree zgeezer. For some weird reason my rear passenger wheel kept rubbing on the caliper. That wheel alone was rubbing so I had to grind away on the caliper. I made sure I didn't grind too much.
