I was just looking at the intercooler that you have, 24x12x3, it also looks really nice. I think I'll pass on the NPR now.

I haven't much research about the NPR intercooler but I have read a few reviews of the eBay ones compared to the NPR one. eBay ones don't lower the temperature as much as the NPR . I've been looking at cx racing intercooler as alot of guys here are usin them .

Looking for a working NON beaten up isuzu npr intercooler for my 260z. I heard the large one doesnt fit so Im looking for the medium sized one. PM me with pics and how much you want for it.

Wiring harness has been removed from the donor and is ready to be put in. I work tomorrow morning so come noon I shall start the finishing up the swap.

Hey guys I just finished taking the 82 zxt wiring out and found something that was different from the pictures shown here on this thread. The top blue wire is the one that goes to coil to feed the tach. The other two goes to the coil also. [same 2 point connector?]

Engine is IN! I just got put in the 280zx fuel pump and put in the wiring harness.. I havent taken the wiring harness out completely.I just gotta take out the fuel pump relay and its wires. Ill post pics as soon as i can.

when you convert to R134a do you just vacuum all the r12 out and replace it with R134a?

I just visited the Msa site and read something about using a 280z clutch collar with the act clutch. Since im using my 260z four speed tranny with the act clutch do I need the 280z collar?

Come to think about it..I might just get the fidanza flywheel. I shall think about it AFTER I get my text books, since I start school tommorrow.

Its been a long day and man does my back hurt. I was wondering if I have to remove or move the tranny at all in order to remove the engine?

To BluDestiny: the interior looks nice BUT the idiot I bought it from decided to spray paint the seats and interior. The dash is actually brown and so are the seats but they are painted over. Let me know what you are interested in and I'll let you know of the condition of it. Going back to sleep now guys the meds. are starting to kick in.

I have been bit by the Flu bug!! I've had a fever since Sunday and slept most of the time. I feel like ima die guys. I even requested the next three days off so I can make some progress on the z.. I really hope I get better. Shoulda got my flu shot when I had the chance.

I only worked on my car for an hour today and I think all I need to do is remove the Ac stuff and thats it, then I can remove my engine. Next time I get to work on my car is sunday so stay tuned. BTW my haynes manual says that only a professional can remove the AC unit so the manual does NOT cover AC removal. Can anyone help me here? I was thinking just venting the gases off or something, then remove the components afterwards. I know NOTHING about AC and I havent found anything on the search function about removing AC.

Hey guys! I have had my 260z [late model] for about 5 months now and am finally ready to start my build. Car was bought somewhere in June of this year, I bought it for 11 hundred dollars. The owner was pretty nice, he even gave me a spare trunk hatch and 2 boxes of parts such as gauges, hoses, carbs, etc. It ran bad, until we hit the highway at around 70 mph it was silent. I bought the car w/ the following problems; somewhat alot of rust near trunk lift/tail light section, brakes were bad and making loud clanking sounds, and the carbs ran super rich so that probably needed tuning or a rebuild. The car has some rust here and there and I plan on painting it w/ por 15 or just cutting it and welding some metal in its place. Reason why I haven't started my build was because I didn't have everything I needed. This will be a street car and hopefully a track car one day. Im not good with carbs especially dual ones so I decided to do a l28et swap. I just bought an 82 280zxt with an auto tranny last month with 110k miles on it. This will be my donor car. My hp goals are somewhere between 250-300 hp. Currently I have done a rear disc brake conversion(Modern motorsports brackets/240 calipers). I also have a wilwood prop valve, MSA turbo dp, and Act heavy duty clutch that I will install. I am really excited about this swap and I hope to share my build with all of Hybridz so some words of advice and encouragement would be much appreciated. My work schedule sucks and I gotta work every other day so I wont be on as much but I will post as much as I possibly can. I have already started prepping for the engine removal by removing the radiator and hood.

At 16 I started to learn from my step dads 07 250 ninja, after that I had to take a course in order to get my license so I got my license at 17 (Now 19). I ride my brothers 05 gsxr atleast once a week. I also dropped it once because I was in a rush and didnt have the kick stand out all the way. Im 5'4 and the gsxr is a perfect size for me. I also rode on my cousins 06 gsxr 1000 and wow does that thing fly! All I gotta say is be careful and happy riding.

Hey gollum, I just bought this downpipe last week and it came in approximately 2 days! Thats some super fast ground shipping lol!! I bought it for my 82 L28et thats going into my 260. I cant tell you how the performance is because I have yet to install it, BUT I have read pretty good things about it. It looks like it will flow more freely unlike that 90 degree bend on the stock dp. I saw another members 280z turbo with this downpipe and it looked really nice! Compare this to the stock downpipe and you can already tell by just looking at it that this dp will flow better than that stock dp. In my opinion, I say get it.
