Went to the santa Clara datsun swap meet yesterday and got this! Ansa Ferrari muffler and a pair of brides. At the muffler shop now getting the muffler put on seats later today hopefully.

Thanks for the support everyone! I searched for "s-130" on yj in the auto category, google translate helps haha. The company that sent them to me was j's garage export if I remember correctly. Be warned tho, you will pay a good price if you go thru them, but they'll source the parts for you an everything. I paid about $250 for the emblems shipped. Hopefully there will be more nerding out soon after I pay off my stupid fixit ticket.. Yeahh

The ground controls I have are 500lb, way too stiff for my taste, the springs I'm using are in the 350lb range. The tokicos don't last with anything stiff, mine are blown already after about 2 years. Maybe I'll get bilstiens next, after I get my struts sectioned. I have no idea what the spring rate on the teins are. Probably around 300 I'd say. Currently it handles pretty good minus the hella short suspension travel up front lol.

I know where j can get some, I've seen the sticker alternatives. What I'd like to find out is what company actually makes the reproduction ones, metal or plastic. I know there's several online stores that distribute them, not actually makes them.

heres a bunch of stuff ive done since my last update hella days ago hahaha I got a dash cap from a member on hybridz for $75 shipped. Brand new! WIN! The install Also I got me some spacers! say hello flush! specs, 1.25" front 1.5" rear Before and after And the girlfriend got me this super awesome center console! HELLO CUPHOLDERS!! OH yeahhh... a while back this happened.. like 2 months ago. My buddy got a little excited leaving a car show X_X A hachi did this *facepalm* pick n pull tail light that i had to re-redout, tell me why there were like 7 right side ones and this was one of two lefts... but all things aside its all better now.. kindu hahaha Turbo dizzy and shaft (correct year) Another turbo harness modded for an S30, probably just use some of the connectors as mine has a few missing. And finally the obligatory TURBO valve cover. All in all an epic score today. and now for the goodies. I finally got some spring perches welded onto my struts thanks to troy at ermish racing. My now slightly used tokicos Gound control sleeve ground control spring Installed I took this chance to roll the lip a bit more on the fronts I diddnt like the drop with the ground controls and the spring rate was a bit on the stiff side so I went with another set I had which were shorter and softer. This was the end result And to my surprise I bottom out my lip going dummy sideways down my driveway. WIN! I got around to painting the turbo valve cover. The over used wrinkle paint that was on there was a biatch to remove. thanks to aircraft grade paint stripper the job was much easier. heres how it turned out. And for those of you demanding oics.. well youre in luck you get two datsuns in one post. my buddys 84 300zx turbo. And Mine I know, I got lazy with the plates halfway thru hahaha thats all for now. still need the oil pump and feed lone made for the swap. sooo close!!!! that will be an epic weekend. but all in due time. Hybridz payed off for some goodies. Got Cusco front and rear strut bars and a full set of turbo emblems. I also got around to swapping the valve covers. I like this one sooooo much more than the other one. I also got an MSD blaster coil. my redonculous miss fire at the top end went away!! and i always thought that was because of the injectors.. O_o oh wells fixed now. never actualy thought it would be a coil.. on a side note, im waiting on some rather interesting and hard to get emblems.. but shall will stay a secret until i get them. S130? You s30 guys hog the limelight too much hahaha. C/f hood would be a nice start, maybe some fenders, light buckets, all the flimsy sundried interior pieces that always break. Jus saying.

Have you tried the maxima balljoints? How far off are the tc rods length wise?

Hahaha nice. Yeah. I thunk for now it's a bit too much r&d for me to do on my daily. I can't have it apart for days at a time. I'll stick with sectioned struts for now since I have an extra set laying around.

Brakes aren't even an issue right now. Just wanted to know how possible it is to do the swap or if it's even worth it over sectioned struts. I know on z31p there's been a few members that have done it on z31's but I wasn't sure if it's the same on s130 since they are very similar.

Azcarbum? Lol stance an serialnine has the weld on sleeves for stance coilovers. Wouldn't I be able to use aftermarket s13 tc rods and tierods to get the extra length?

Niceee so .. Way better than sectioned struts haha.. Ball joints are s13 aswell right? What about the tie rods?

Is anyone running s13 front hub/spindle swap with s13 coilovers? Im thinking about doing it myself. I know on z31's the sai gets fubr'ed, is this the case on te s130 too? Is there a way to remedy that if it is? I've looked around but haven't really found anything conclusive. I know it can be done but need to know the details.

Here's my setup On my s130 Grids 16x8 +10 32mm spacer front 38mm spacer rear Rolled the lip on the fenders. Clears fine now but if I go slammed then I rub the body in the rear, fronts aren't a problem

Is it possible to switch out the afm to a map sensor on a 280zx without running a standalone ecu? I've heard of people doing it but haven't found any write-ups or anything on how it's done.
