hey jeff my wife also has a 240z would I be able to do that measurement of the steering knuckles while they are on the car, and if not would you be able to check the stock steering knuckles that you have.

Question when I purchased my 240z the owner told me that my car had the quick steering arms, but how can I actually tell if they are actually the quick steering arms.

I posted a earlier thread about my coilover top hats or top perch, I needed to get the correct spherical bushings, now I can tell you what struts I am using, the fronts are tokico HZ3015 and the rears are Bilstein p30-062 and my camber plates are the old carrera camber plates, I would post the photos except when I try to upload the photos it said that my file was to large and it was only one photo. I need to know where I can purchase the top perch, my top perch that I have with these ebay coilovers donot work with the struts that I have for mentioned.

Can I Actually Purchase The Upper Spring Perch With A Monoball, I Have Seen Some Sites That Sell The Spherical Bearing In Two Sizes I Have The Bilstein P30-062 And The Tokico Hz3015 Struts.

Hello terry I just had a machine shop remove the rear axle hubs.

im about to order the cv adapters for the 280zxt, but I want to get them express. did you receive your order in a timely manner.

Im about to remove my stub axles from my 240z suspension, 1. what is the easiest way to remove the stub axle, ive been hammering this stub axle with a 2x4 covering the threaded area. 2. Im almost sure to have to replace the nuts for the stub axle and where do i get these nuts. 3. I will be upgrading the stub axle to a 280z stub axle, the reason for this is that modern motorsports say that the cv stub axles that I am purchasing from them say it will only work with the 280z stubs.

by the way I actually have the fully adjustable lower control arms, do i really need the camber plates that I have for negative camber adjustment, If I can use the lower control arms for adjustment.

I have a 72 240z that I just purchased coilovers for, and I did not think about the struts that I would use, the upper collars on some coilovers are different so I may have to do some drilling for the fitment of the strut to fit into the collar, what would be the best solution to matching the coilovers to the struts and to drilling the upper collar for fitment.

Question I would like to know if the outer diameter of the front and rear 72 datsun 240 struts the same, or are they different in size.

I have been a member on this site for a good while, and I have heard some nightmare stories about showcars parts, people who have paid for parts and not received them and long long wait time for receiving parts. if it was me I would never place a order with that business.

Ive seen a lot of ugly flares in my time, but those rear quarters should be burned and buried like an evil z spirit.

as you can see from the photo, they actually set on top, and you would have to grind off some the top area of the strut housing and groove the nut area for movement of the coilover essembly

Hello I would like to know if a 72 datsun 240z has the same strut dia as a datsun 510, im refering to the front strut.

I have a 73 datsun 240z with a automatic transmission, that has been sitting for most of the winter, and every now and then I would start the car up, but most recently I tried to start it up and it would not start. the car is not getting any spark, I adjusted the dual points to the correct gap and the wires and sparks plugs and cap & rotor are new, And I also changed the coil, but I still get no spark, any suggestions would greatly.
