  1. Here's the correct fitting, Thread Adaptor 3/8 x 24NF - 10 x 1mm and it's sold by Brake Connect to use stock 10mm brake line fittings.
  2. I've heard good things about those mounts with the only issue being low mount f body alternator clearance from the engine mount.
  3. I've heard good and bad about them. They are definitely cheaper than a T56 even bought new. I'm curious about shifter placement and torque holding capacity.
  4. What manual trans would you use? I've thought about the 350-370Z trans with adapter but with mixed reviews on durability behind a LS motors torque. Even considered a G Force T5.
  5. How's that 3:90 on the street? I just bought a 3:70 and I'm worried about 1st gear being unusable with a T56 and high fwy revs at cruise.
  6. 11US is hilarious! I'm from Vegas but staying in Barrie with my girlfriend and pleasantly surprised with the exchange rate. Nice build. I just picked up my diff from Whitehead Performance, obviously made from titanium and gold plated for what I paid for it.

I was concerned about that as well Richard, for what its worth I contacted EXEDY about their SFI flywheels and clutches and their response is that the LS flywheel must pass an 18,000 rpm load and burst test and the flywheels 13,000 rpm. For what that's worth. I wonder if the LSA Camaros and CTV's have a special flywheel and clutch assy.

  14. Does the T5 fit better? As far as trans tunnel clearance and shifter placement?
  15. What mounts are you using for engine and transmission?
  16. I have a 71 with the threads for the threaded wings but my car came with them as a rolller. Would you happen to have any pics with the CX Racing trans mounted bolted it? I'm interested in what kind of adapter I'd need to fabricate.
  17. is the F body pan recommended for that kit? On paper the dimensions appear it would but I'm not familiar with that kit.
  18. Man that thing gets it! Would you be will to show pics of your exhaust and header routing? Not many LS turbo cars with the exhaust exiting the rear of the vehicle.
  19. What's your driveshaft length with the CX engine mounts, I'm assuming your diff is a is a R200?
  20. I've been thinking about the CX kit but my trans tunnel doesn't have the upper wings. They were bolted in from what I can tell and didn't come with my car. I picked it up as a roller. Who did you use for a drive shaft and did you have to make adjustments on the pinion angle?
  21. The metal on these cars are super thin. I have no idea how any S30 survives 300ftlbs of torque and doesn't twist up like a soda can. Even the welds on the subframe to suspension attachment points look suspect. Any choice you make as far as a cage choose your seats first, get in a driving position and measure. If you drive on the streets without a helmet you don't want to bang up any body parts in the even of a accident or roll over. Door bars just won't work with the seats I have, not even swing outs. My car will be mostly street driven with some occasional auto cross or drags. Can't believe I've got 10k in this car already with no engine trans fuel system brakes or chassis harness. 2 years of pushing it around my small garage.
  22. What did you not like about the CXR kit? As far as I know Hoke doesn't make headers for his kit but recommended the CXR long tubes.
