sorry, what I meant was the Legalis-r for the muffler section and the Super EX header. both from fujitsubo. Fujitsubo japan does not know whether or not it will fit my 240Z. I want to make sure fitment is good/perfect before I go to a muffler shop and let them mess around with a expensive header/muffler

Hey guys, new here. I did a search and still no positive answers, hopefully you can help me out. I have a stock USDM 73 Datsun 240Z and want a Fujitsubo Legalis-R header/muffler. Problem is no one on this side or the other side of the pond can figure out if there will be fitment issues. I understand that the header might not work because of the steering rack, but will the muffler work? I have contacted Fujitsubo japan and also many other tuners and no one knows the answer. One tuner did suggest that since it was built back in the 70's that there were no emissions and that should mean that there should be no difference in the mufflers. Thanks

But you have to remember you and your fellow z driver are a small minority. Alot of people on here are more worried for price. It was the same thing when I asked why some members on here would buy replica seats over the real ones. Real CF costs ALOT. Are the wieght reductions worth it? probably not. Also, most vendors are probably not willing to put R&D into something that will sell in small numbers.

if you search on classiczcars.com, you will find a white S30 with chrome Work Meister rims. IMO they rims are too big for the car. theres also pictures on here of a blue Z with silver Meisters

I know most datsun owners are tight with money, but how can you guys invest in a seat that has not been safety tested. Honestly it looks like a good deal, until something bad happens. *knocks on wood* Brand name seats have to meet certain regulations and safety codes, which i know these seats wont meet.

^ IMO even if it is a bad chassis, it should be worth saving. if you truly wanted to pay tribute to your uncle, bring the car to its former glory. bring it to the condition to where your uncle loved the car and then, make it your own. theres probably a reason on why he left you that car.
