I have a set of 16x8 rbr gunmetal with polished lip. used for 5000 miles. No bends/nicks etc. They are +04 offset so no spacers required. Fit stock wheel well perfectly. 525 shipped if you want them.

There is a clear path for fumes to enter the car. Up the "hatch latch hole" and into the cabin through the vinyl panel under the hatch. The vinyl panel is no where near airtight. Remove the vinyl panel, put a bead of sealant around the opening, seal off the opening with a sheet of plastic, reinstall the vinyl panel. This eliminates one more path. -Does someone have a picture of this?

I know within reason the more tire the better, but how much tire is actually needed for a street/occasional road course car? For example, my car: ford 302 about 300rwhp weighs 2550 with me in it. Have 16x8's. They make a 245/50/16 too much for an 8 inch wheel? Currently have 225/45/16's and I am contemplating going to a 255/40/17 on a 9 inch wide wheel. Where should I stop? I know some of you guys are running 275's and 315's but at what point does the cost outweigh the benefit?

Patriot exhaust makes "mid length" headers that are 1 5/8 primaries to 3 inch collectors which is what I am using in my car. Makes more power than short tubes without the hassle of long tubes THey are called patriot "Clippster" headers.

has anyone looked into redrilling the front hubs on a 280z for 5 x 114.3. If it could be done this would allow use of the modern motorsports cobra 13" kit.

I seem to have the worst luck with buying parts. I recently purchased a supposedly 1989 302 longblock. It has e7te in the casting above the starter but when I took the heads off the pistons don't appear to have valve reliefs and are mostly flat except for a small in them.(about the size of a pencil eraser and about as deep as a buisness car) Does anyone have a link to picutres of 302 pistons? Any ideas?

Just curious if anyone has looked into using the ems from a chevy ls1 motor and tuned it ona ford 302. Dont see why it couldnt be done? Cheaper than aftermarket efi.

Are you guys seeing high egt's with the hy35's tiny exhaust housing? Will the hx35 exhaust housings fit? I havent found an alternative for the hy 35 yet..

I have an 85 gt mustang . Everything is in the car. What can be used off the car and what else will I need to pay for (parts/fabrication?) for the engine/tranny etc. to be used in a 280z?

I have 4,000$ available to me. Body work is of no conccern to me. I will be doing all work myself. I have a 280z able to purchased for $500 and a 85' mustang gt 5 speed with 77k on the clock for 500$ as well. I want better brakes and ground control coil overs. Roll cage ($200?) and 1 bucket seat.Can it be pulled off? Any links to 5.o v8 swaps in a Z? Thanks in advance.

I just bought an 85' gt 5 speed with 77,000 miles for $500. (no title.) From what i hear the 85' motor is junk. Can the 5 speed be used with newer 5.0's ?
