  1. I've seen the 4 lug in 17x9.5 12 offset or the 17x9 0 offset where did you find 17x9.5 0 offset?
  2. Has anyone found a set of off the shelf 302 long tube headers that fit a 240z/260z/280z?
  3. This picture is a memeber on here. Almost all bolt in I believe. 240sx front strut. 240sx front hub/spindle brakes. Stock LCA and TC rod. The spindles are swapped left to right to allow front front steer. Would be a cheap brake upgrade if someone had more details on this. The q45 brakes with a newer altima 4 lug rotor bolt on the stock SX hub I think..
  4. I have an 86' motor with the AFR 165 heads with the upgraded springs. I notched the pistons while they were still in the block to allow valve proper clearance. Have 1.6 rockers and Anderson Ford Motorsport N41 camshaft. Weiand xcellerator intake. This combo is good for 323hp at the wheels =D
  5. Please see this thread. http://www.ffcars.com/forums/48-ford-small-block-engine/277639-worst-afr-165-dyno-ever.html Ive made the changes I spoke about in that thread but when setting the timing the engine seems to run best at 35 or so degrees at idle. around 25 it idles extremely rough and below that it will barely run. I did not assemble the bottom end. Is it possible for the cam to be out of time causing this issue? Not to mention the low power. Thanks.
  6. I had to modify the mount quite a bit. The 78 tc buckets are a bit larger than the earlier models. Was not a "bolt in". Also the 78 floor is different so the trans mount doesnt work very well. Made my own. If it were me Id just buy a motor plate and make your own motor mount.
  7. Could you get some pictures of your hydraulic clutch setup? Or perhaps more info?
  8. Whats the part number on the master cylinder you ended up using?
  9. Cube taillights would probably fit better. Narrower and nissan =D
  10. Thinking about this, you could build your own starting/charging circuit and ignore/remove the factory stuff on both of them. That would be the easiest. Did your car have a factory external regulator?
  11. I used a carb. And a gm 1 wire alternator. Unfortunately I have never read the JTR manual. I also got rid of the factory ignition box in the passanger footwell area. Sorry I cant be more help.
  12. Where are you located? I had the same problem with my 78 280z. The later cars had different wiring colors. This website has a 77 280z wiring diagram. http://www.4moores.com/280z/files/index.html Helped me a lot. Good luck!
  13. A bit more than I can afford to pay. Anyone else?
  14. I used one of their kits for a 240sx rb25det swap and had the same problem u guys had.
