HOLEY CRAP!!!!! Where is the pump at?
-
n/a
I was planning a 350 swap just a few days ago. Then something came over me and I changed my mind to doing a turbo swap. If you do the math, the turbo swap is cheaper and easier to to. I just got hooked on boost, and that's what I would advise for a turbo swap. You can make nice numbers out of a stock turbo long block.

Is your car a turbo or N/A.

Oh ok. The Tockicos will offer performance, what he was saying was a coilover kit wall perform at a higher level. If you don't go with the Modern Motorsports kit, then you might have some fab/machineing to do. This is Slownrusty's pictoral of his setup. http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/1188927

The Modern Motorsports kit does not require machining. They just slide over and weld in place I believe. Here's the quote.
***For proper installation, removal of the factory cupped lower spring perch is required. Then our custom perch is welded to the strut tube at our described location. This is the only welding required and is easily done by any competent welder.

I dont see a 666. I just see 6,666.66. Six thousand, six hundred and sixty six dollars, and sixty six cents.
Look harder, it's in between the 6's.

Best bang for buck I would say.

Brand name is always better. As far as a suspension kit, the springs are gonna be your best bet. You can get coil overs custom made but they are gonna be $$$$$.

Check this link, http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=11 , they have the cheapest lowering kit available and its easy to install.

Looking at the other pictures on the imageshack page of that 1979 turbo, I can see it 'appears' to be an NA engine with an added turbo on it.
Good observation.... not much more to discuss on that then.

The best thing to do is read. Find a member who is in your area and make friends and learn from them. Explore the forums as much as possible every day and have a PLAN if you are going to do something. Look at all of your possible options and then choose the one that is best for your build. There are tons of priceless information here and people willing to help out if you put in your best effort. The most important thing to do for a build/project is to have a solid plan from start to finish.

It is located on the spark plug side of the head near the firewall. I believe it is in between the number 5 and 6.

PLEASE can you use some correct spelling and punctuation? I have had 6 beers in the past hour and I am doing a better job at that than you. Lets start from scrap. Does the car run at all? If so, how long? Have you checked all of your sensors? Did you install the distributor pointing in the correct direction? Turn your motor to TDC on #1 and tell us what position your distributor arm is point in.

I just got done reading through this one myself. It has some good info in it. Try a 84-89 turbo 300zx r200. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=114798&highlight=R200

Did anyone hear about the mishap with comcast in Tuscon Arizona? After the Cardinals took a leading touch down, comcast accidentally played the wrong clip.

If you ever want to play a prank on the girly, just fill her blow dryer with baby powder. By far one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

"HIGH LIFE!!" I don't know if it was accident or not but I liked the 2 second Miller one. Other than that the "McGrudder" one was pretty good too.
Miller High Life had commercials for the past few days saying that they were gonna have a one second commercial. I did see it though.

Well coolant cost quite a bit. I think they might charge you about $7.00 a gallon. With a 15 gallon average tank that can add up. You wont need that much, just enough to coat the inside was good. But as a more cost effective way, I believe Simple Green will take the smell away too if you can get in well distributed in the tank.

Got a new one for ya. The normal C 130 utility air craft was designed to land in 1400 ft and take off in 1800 ft. This retrofitted JATO equipped C 130 was made for a rescue mission and lands in about 75 ft of runway and takes off in about 75 ft of runway. Thats quite impressive for a large air craft.

Poor some radiator coolant in the tank and give it a good swish around. The properties in the coolant should take the gas smell off the tank walls and then wash it out. Fill the entire tank with water, dump out the water and then dry the inside out with a heat gun or blow dryer.

This girl has to be dizzy as hell by the end of this act. It just amazes me how quite a bit of people have random talent that they will never use in their life but acts as a great stress relief.
