That connects to the vacuum advance on your distributor.

Might I ask why you are interested in this question? Is there something that you are basing this concern off of? I don't think that we have enough information to stake a claim because the same level of technology would wield the same amount of horse power in any motor. I.E. if you have the level of technology to make a 500hp V12 then you must also have a level of technology to produce a 500hp V8. Although I want to contradict myself from that statement because I understand what you are trying to say. I guess I just need an example.
But I think it all depends on the combination of stroke, compression, friction, and centrifugal resistance.

Put a cat on a piece of glass?
I was thinking more along the lines of a magical Hover Cat....Just imagine what BRAAP would look like on a glass table!

The admins are clever, but are their minds strong enough to do this?

If you are talking about the tubes at the bottom of the TB, than that is for coolant to pass through to warm the TB. There is a bump stop type screw on the TB that adjusts how open the TB is at idle. Adjust the screw to open the TB to adjust your idle.

Actually there are 11.....

Have you checked your fuel pressure with a gauge? Have you tested all of your sensors?

Or if I can find an engine dyno to tune the motor on, then I could probably swap it in a day.

I have a few questions here.
1- How many people have a secondary car that they drive when the Z is down?
2- If you do not have another car to drive, how do you find time to do any modifications to your Z with having a full time job?
I am asking because I DD my ZX and am planning a turbo swap. I am working full time and I don't know when I will have time to swap and tune over half a Saturday and a full Sunday.

You must have needed to use a stick of dynamite in the wheel to get that bead seated!

There should still be fuel pressure in the lines after you turn the car off, so pulling the lines will cause fuel to spray into the air(I know from first hand experience). There could be a vacuum leak. Have you changed anything on the engine? Any upgrades?

This is absolutely awesome! When I saw the first pics of what you were doing I thought it was going to be ugly. Now that you have "rounded" out the sides a bit, I really like the look. You should do a similar look for the rear. Take out the tails and weld the recessed area flat so you have a sunk in look like the front. Then add in some round tail lights. This is just how I envision the rear end looking. I'm sure you have plans for the rear, right?
Hats off to you man!

Isn't that what I just said about a proton on page 2?
On a side note, if we didn't have electricity, we'd be ohmless
I thought it might have been, I was just too lazy to double check.

That's exactly what I was thinking!

Jerry, go with the single, if you can get it to spool.

Mathematic puns are the first sine of madness!
A hydrogen atom came running into a police station asking for help....
Hydrogen atom: Someone just stole my electron!!
Policeman: Are you sure?
Hydrogen atom: Yes, I'm positive

Mmmmmmm....
M-POWAH!
UNAGI GREAT POWAH! I wonder how many unagi this motor took?

All I read off it was Cummins. There was not much information on it except part numbers.

I have the 6-2-1 MSA headers on my L28 with 2.5" piping and a 30" glass pack at the end. It has a nice tone to it, and it can be quite if you drive conservatively. I do feel a bit of low end torque loss though. I would put at least 1 glass pack on the setup.

A sock over their head is better, they get stuck in reverse.
Putting tape on their feet is fun too.Not that I would know.

(btw, if you find zero friction let me know, we can make some money!

As I was wondering through the new junk yard today looking for a Z31 ECU and MAF, I stumbled along some projector housing in a Hyundai Tiburon.
I figured these would work great to put in my crappy ebay $30 lenses. So i cut out the insides of the housings and made the whole big enough for the new lens to slide through. I added some door trim to the edge of the exposed housing to make it fit snug.
Then I slid the new lens in and it fit snug. Luckily the headlight bracket holds the lens nice and tight when everything is put together So I did not really need to make something to secure it to the housing.
I will get some night pics up tomorrow after I make the other one.
