  1. Justin I meant to say the flange is cut in two *places*.. which would mean 3 total pieces.

The "washers" from the intake manifold to hold the flange down just worries me .. if not torqued to spec or the bolts become loose at all.. the flange will shift all over under the washer.

  2. Having VG's on the front splitter of the car will help organize the airflow.. like mentioned above..

but a full smooth underbelly/under tray like on race cars would be useless.. there is no flow separation UNDER the car except at the rear of the car.. which diffusers sort out.

Now air separates and exits out of the sides as well.. but VG's would be pointless on the sides of a car.. thats why race cars are so low or add side skirts.

In our case.. adding VG's on the front splitter for our Z's would help since our cars have a wild mess and lots of interference and parts sticking out...

and I suppose adding VG's on the bottom of the stock gas tank would help too, but nothing noticeable.

  3. I would LOVE to own a kit car..

Hell some of the Factory Five kits are amazing and they handle!!

Ferrari and Porsche and Lambo.. ok those are an obvious.. you don't buy them purely for looks..

Other kit cars though? They have the looks and you can build your own performance! In the end you have a cool car.. who cares if its a "replica kit car"

  4. HONEST TO GOD!.... if somebody shows me a link or someone with a 280z CARBON FIBER GOOD (with the grillz) im down to buy that ♥♥♥♥... i want a 280z carbon fiber hood with the grilz for my Series ONE Z... that would look BAD ASS! i say you guy smake these. i got 5 on it. that youl have buyers left and right for those hoods

Umm.. only 240z hoods are available.. you will have to buy or retrofit the louvers on

  5. LoL.. mass confusion.. look what I've started..

let me specify.. airplanes have disc brakes.. complete with a caliper and all.

you can get technical and talk about air brakes and spoilers and flaps to slow the airplane down.. but thats a new thread lol

I'd be interested in trying out this new speedometer! maybe it's a much quicker/accurate device then what is in my putt putt propeller driven device.
