  1. are you planning on killing yourself?!

you have the jack stands on a piece of old 2x6? the hydraulic jack and the stacked wood is scary as hell.. especially on the sloping driveway/sidewalk.

beautiful car, the exhaust looks great.. but holy crap man. SAFETY FIRST

  2. Im watching the F1 race of Germany on Fox right now and I noticed that the new 2008 F1 cars have a new addition to the front wheels.

    The wheel covers...

does anyone know alot about these? I guess the new ones on the front wheels are stationary and do not move and rotate with the wheel. The opening in the rear of the cover allows brake dust and gases to escape.

It looks like this even has a a brake duct/scoop for better brake ducting!!

  3. I had the same problem when I had the twice pipes installed on my 280z... years and years ago when I had no idea what I was doing.

Twice pipe exhaust is designed for a 240z.. not a 280z. It will require work and fitting for a 280z

  4. Sean..

excellent pictures, but the front wheels need to be adjusted properly ;)

Take a peak at some car magazines and photo shoots..

The direction the wheels are turned with angle the photo was taken isn't working very well for me.

  5. I think a lot of people confuse sequential twin turbo's.. or just a set of parallel twins.

Everyone i've talked to talks about how quickly the twins spool up and provide full boost over a single turbo..

then we have the long talk about sequential setups lol

Now a *true* sequential turbo setup does have it's advantage...

BUT thats not 100% feasible and more costly for building it yourself.

  6. yeh the extension cord is primarily the biggest issue..

the welder will only pull 15a at max... so the 14ga wiring in the house is fine. 12 ga would be for a 20a circuit.

As long as all the lights or appliances on the same circuit are off he should be able to weld perfectly fine.

    Good advice though =)

  7. Drive to a SCCA event or any open track event..

they will tell you to remove them.. they are NOT secured.

You might need a refresh on physics.. the boxes and amp will not simply "slide forward" and run into a lip.

They will be catapulted into the air.

If you think I am joking.. ask an inspector. and ask your local high school physics teacher
