Ok.. WEIRD problem..
I've been running the innovate setup disconnected from Megasquirt to prevent it from pooping out..
today I installed a 1/4 watt 470ohm resistor..
and my guage is showing one thing... Megasquirt is showing something way different..
for example.. my Innovate Guage displays 15.6 AFR
Megasquirt displays 14.2 AFR
When the wire is hooked up directly.. life is good, perfect match
When the resistor is hooked up.. life is not good, NO match
any idea's?!
I do have an older version of the Innovate box, and I dont want to fry it!

metal?!?
I would say NO!
if you detonate.. the head gasket will blow and save your engine
with metal, you detonate.. and there is no where for it to go, other then through the piston or out the side of the block.
My fel-pro has handled 18psi fine

much better pics now Austin
oh yeh.. 2.5" or 3" now?!
-
bad ass man!! glad to see everything is working out for ya!
and now your rolling in the cash!
-
cool. thanks man!

well.. today I torqued them to spec and noticed something interesting..
the holes in the lifters did NOT line up with the holes on the head...
hmm.. i wonder if each lifter has its own "home"... since I converted over to solids then BACK to hydraulics.. they were in a box.. and were not placed exactly in the same spot.
Is each lifter different?! like a different thread start, or different depth or something?!
I used a sharpie to mark the lifter to see if it lined up.. hmm

lol 17psi and stock half shafts and dumping the clutch?!
umm bad bad bad idea
-
I really like these... I want to try them out.
-
whatcha lookn to get done on the car?!
and what part of Colorado?!
-
BTW I had to upgrade to a 3/4" master cylinder AND a 11/16" slave cylinder..
I originally upgraded to a 11/16" slave out of a 1988 Pathfinder.. but the master quickly went after that.
Yes the clutch is extremely firm.. be careful and try not to bend the clutch fork.
the car will chatter bad for about 600 miles.. mine did and mine was sprung!

I have a much older version of MSnS extra ... and I cant view the file =(
Maybe the fuel/spark maps?
-

I say no

I ordered the parts today...
and just bought a small laptop from Matt..
soo.. I will be testing this shortly! I will keep everyone updated!

Tune for density altitude?!?
Now you are sounding like a pilot!!
Density altitude affects performance to such great extends the Pilot Operating Handbook has density altitude charts and even the local airport has a digital density altitude monitor.
especially at my altitude.. (5,600 ft msl) a hot 90 degree day is terrible.. almost 8,500 feet actual density altitude

If it was a fully built WRC rally car, it could take a beating like that and keep on ticking. Cracked windsheilds are common on all the current WRX models when they go serious off roading. Those WRC cars are nearly indestructable.
Wrong.. watch the 2006 WRC Finland event.. Mikko Hirvonen landed so hard on impact he knocked the air out of the co-drivers lungs and cracked the wind screen! It was crazy!
