  1. You need to be more specific. Pre 82 are different than 82-83. I assume you want the pre 82 to do an upgrade on an earlier car. If you want later style I have one.
  2. I could be wrong, but before going to the hassle and cost of changing all the locks I would talk with a locksmith and see what it would cost to have him make you a key. It might be worth it to pull one door lock and talk to a locksmith about making one at his bench. Good luck
  3. One more but CA shipping may be expensive. Let me know
  4. I have a great running but very rusty 1983 280ZXT. Was trying to sell car but willing to start parting car if I can insure the major components are spoken for. Let me know csorgenfrie@cox.net. I have also emailed you
  5. I know the 280ZXT T5 bolts up to all all the 280ZX and older engine blocks. I was wondering if the 240mm turbo pressure plate and clutch bolts up to the stock 280z 5 spd. Thanks
  6. Since the add was under parts I thought you wanted a trans. You DO NOT want this car as a driver.
  7. I have a rusted 1983 280zxt that I am going to pull apart. If I want to advertise a complete swap is there anything beside the list below I should pull/include? Obviously the engine with all accessories T5 ECU engine bay harness Are there any other parts (besides turbo and manifolds) that should be pulled to make a complete setup? I saw some guy looking for turbo tach resistor. Do I or should I pull the dash harness also? Also any of the relays from inside the car needed? Having never done a swap I am not sure what else is needed. Thanks
  8. calculated shipping to Seattle and it came out to $24. How does $120 shipped sound. 30 lbs 22x22x14 box Let me know and it can be on the way tomorrow paypal csorgenfrie@cox.net now hijack to get around 40 posts (this is my 35th) Great turbo swap for sale
  9. I have one from a 75 I parted out. It is complete, injectors, fuel rail, throttle body, heat shield. Let me know if your interested and what your willing to pay. It is Southern CA
  10. You say the blue wire, do you need the black resistor it is plugged into? Or is it something at the other end? I am getting ready to part a 1983zxt

  12. Will be taking a 83 280zxt off the road this week. 147k on the car. Runs very well. call me and we can talk 949 378 6448
  13. I have one from a 75 that was in storage for 18 years
  14. I don't know, are they different from a regular 280ZX?
  15. I have a complete 280zxt, it is my sons daily driver for another week. I would like to sell it complete for $1700. The car is a rust bucket but the drivetrain is good. 147k new clutch, t5, injectors just rebuilt. I think I could do a road trip in a week or two and bring it to you. I know it is more than a engine, but parting it would being me that much. csorgenfrie@cox.net PS in Orange County
  16. I have a set of dished pistons stamped p90 from a 75, some cracked when my son removed the pins so I can send you one for the cost of shipping.
  17. I have a 75 tack in lake forest.
  18. I have one from a 72 I pulled. Let me know if that is what you need.
  19. I received a car that had been disabled. There was some extruded aluminum that I had no idea what it was for. The attached pic is what it is. Anyone interested? It was from a 75 280Z not a 2+2 like in the pic. $10 plus shipping.
  20. I have a 75 passanger door sitting outside. Let me know if that is the correct side.
  21. Been reading the posts and have not seen an answer for a S130 trans swap. Against my better judgment I purchased a smooth running but rusty 83 280ZX Turbo for my son. The car passed smog easily and other than needing a clutch it drives very well. The idea was to make it a daily driver until he finishes some work on his 240Z. (3.1, 5spd, R200, new interior). Anyway I came across a much cleaner 81 280ZX Turbo with what appears to be a rebuilt engine but it is an automatic. I am picking it up for $500. How feasible is it to pull the T5 from the 83 and move it into the 81. These are the items I can think of. brake peddle replaced with brake/clutch assembly. clutch slave, and hydraulic lines flex plate/flywheel change trans itself and shifter Is the firewall stamped for the clutch slave.piston? Are the trans crossmember compatible or do I need to switch it? Any other things I am missing?
  22. I was doing it out of the car. It turns out I made a mistake in my count. It is about 3.34. Thanks all
  23. Pulled my son's R180 to replace with a 4.11 from a 280ZX. He wants to sell the R180 so we were checking the gear ratio. I expected 3.34 but when we test it we get around 2.90. Has anyone heard of such a ratio. The car is a 1972 4sp.
