  1. I sold a 72 240Z with matching #'s and I got what I want for it....
  2. I will say keep the engine if it match with the car...you will never know...they worth more with matching#'s

Drop the gas tank and clean it .....and clean out all the fuel lines-new fuel filter,new fuel lines befor crank or start the car up!!!I am sure after 12 years just sitting the gas went bad long time ago.You don't need all the junk goes inside your fuel lines and plug you injectors.... Search the web and read a lot or buy you a factory service manual for your year in ebay befor you do any thing don't just unscrew bolts and pull parts......

  8. I have a 82 280ZX non turbo 5 speed....I just replaced the head gasket on the engine(lost compression on #5,#4). The car have high6 ignition(witch I set it to 6000RPM) with MSD 2 Plaster coil MSD ignition wires,Headers. The timing is right (10). So the problem is the car won't go over 4000 rpms while shifting and driving but if I bunch the gas while she in neutral will go above 4000 RPM We put every thing back as it should be and the car gained the compression again also there is a exhaust sound on high rpm"s like I have a leak or somthing ..but the system is good no leaks,...we marked evry thing so we can put every thing back. What you guys think I realy want it to go back like befor ...reach the high rpm's(over 4000 while shifting. Also Do I have to set the timing in diffrant possion or diffrant #..I have a timing light.. Please advice.... Thanks.
  9. I did disconect the wire and the same thing happend...I believe or I heard read some where that the light will indecate for somthing going wrong!!

I hit the search button with no luck my key word was Brake LIGHT ON I own a 78 280Z and I noticed that my brake light will be on until I drive for a few miles on the highway and then will go out after that distance.I know for sure my EB switch in working condition and the brake fluid level is normal....so what is making the brake light will go on then after while driving will go out? Also do you know wher is the best place to install a fuel prusser gauge on the system? Thank you guys for the help in advance.
