  1. I only need the driver's side, but will consider pair. Looking for excellent quality.
  2. I went with Corbeau LG1 seats in my ZXT. The stock sliders mechanism fits up inside the hollow of the stock seats. The Corbeaus are flush. This creates the need for the stock sliders to be modified. Anywhere I could cut to reduce height, I did. The cross bars with holes is what the seats mount too. Cutting the rear mounting holes gained a good inch. I want more headroom, so I will try the Corbeau sliders next. A little research implies I can cut the rear mounting holes like I did on the stock sliders.
  3. The front & rear set-up from AZC are on my Want List, as is a proportion valve. I do wish he would sort out the parking brake. Its one of the reasons I have been holding off. Bummed I can't use my ZXT wheels for now. I wanted to stagger the new brakes and new wheels over a few months. I guess that means wheels first, brakes later.
  4. I've been wanting to build one for a few years. I currently have a strut tower brace. No way in the world would I attach harness straps to that. Not designed for that direction of load. The pic below is a VERY rough sketch of what I am considering. All steel and hiem joints need to be spec'd to take the load of an accident. Attach tabs to the mount for the strut brace. It is bolted down by all 3 bolts for the rear suspension. The bar is attached with hiem joints for adjustability The horizontal bar runs cross ways just behind the seat and at the level of the pass through holes on the seats. A wire hoop is welded to the top of the bar to keep the straps in location on the bar. On the bottom of the bar, weld on tabs that would then have vertical supports that go to the floor board to maintain the correct height of the main bar. Replacing the hiem joints with serious bolts would certainly lower the parts pricing. Thoughts?
  5. I have the LG1 installed in a 280ZXT. I have height issues. Going to try the Corbeau brackets next to see if I can drop them lower.
  6. I'm enjoying following this thread. Curious how/if you radius the leading edge at each end.
  7. MSA was selling the 280ZX version. Someone would need to contact them to see if they still do or can get their hands on them. Klearz makes them. I believe they will sell direct if they do not have a retailer set-up. I believe a smoked version was also offered. Klearz had a fire at some point. I don't know if the ZX molds were damaged in that or not. That might explain why MSA is not showing them on their site. Pure guessing on my part. If I recall correctly, MSA sells/sold theirs with the needed colored LED bulb for $100/set. Not trying to take away from what ZCR-kid is doing. Getting all the equipment for this project was not cheap. I'm glad to see these available again. One day, one day....
  8. Color is Jade Grey. Slight green tint shows when the light hits it just right.
  9. The front spoiler is difficult to see, but I'm guessing its the urethane Xenon. I'd need a better lite pic to tell.
  10. Looks great. I love the color, but then I should, that's the same color as my ZXT!
