  1. Very retro. Cool if you want to keep everything old school!
  2. I can make it if its on Saturday or Sunday afternoon (work in the morning). Thanks guys!
  3. Hi Everyone. I was wondering if anyone used calipers other than Wilwoods for this brake upgrade. I asked Juan, and he said someone on Hybrid Z used red calipers, but wasn't sure what the brand was. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you. -Eric
  4. Thanks for your help Owen. Were your seat reclineable and did they fit? I previously contacted another member who had installed Recaro SRD seats. He had to custom make brackets, etc. and had to remove the reclining knob on one side of the seat due to it hitting the tranny tunnel. He said that the seats pretty much fit, however when he closes the door, it hits the shoulder area of the seat, but it closes. I did contact Sparco and inquired about their seats for the z. I told him about the other z member who installed the recaro seats, and the rep gave me the part numbers of what I needed (sliders, brackets, etc.) but he said the same modifications may need to be done like the recaros. He also gave me the dimensions. The only other person that I have seen that installed these seats was Tod Kaneko. He was on that Super Street issue showing his 510 and 240z. Any other help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again Owen. -Eric
  5. Hi everyone. I have a 70' 240z and I wanted to install the Sparco Torino seats. I was wondering if anyone had done this before, and if there are any fitment issues or modifications that have to be done for proper fitment. Thanks all, Eric
  6. Hi. Just wanted to confirm all the 82-83 MT 280zxt turbo cars do come with the T5. My friend and I just pulled a T-5 from a 82' 2+2 280zxt MT. Thanks again Mike C!
  7. Hi all. I was wondering if the 2+2 280zxt (MT) come with a BW T-5 tranny, or is it just with the coupe versions? Thanks, Eric
  8. Thanks everyone for all your help. So most likely I will go with the 3.54 or the 3.7LSD. Now if i don't go for the Quaife right now (if I don't have enough funds) then the 3.7 LSD from the non white 87-89 300zxt would be the best choice right?
  9. Hey HBskinheadZ, what day did you go? I was there on Monday and you beat me to it! My hopes were up when I saw the car until I looked underneath . Oh well. Keep me updated on your conversion !
  10. Hi SleeperZ. Could you please elaborate on why the 3.54 is the best choice? Also, have you heard anything about the 3.364 that zparts.com is taking about? Thank you !
  11. I am looking to change the rear end to an R200 but I am unsure of what to get. I will be doing a L28et swap in a 70' 240z and I was just wondering which would be the best choice for a turbo car. Here is what I've found: - I see a lot of people use the 87-89 300zxt 3.7 lsd R200 - the 79 280zx MT, 5 spd, 4 seater has a R200 3.7 - I have heard or some people using a 3.9 with their turbo Zs. - On http://www.zparts.com, under the parts list for drivetrain, there is a side note stating "R200 units with 3:36 gears are highly desired by owners of V8 and Turbo charged Z cars with lots of torque that desire high end speeds. Very Rare and hard to find." I will most likely be putting in a Quaife differential in it, and my car will be a daily driver. Which would be my best choice
