  1. They are free. Ad aware has additional features that you can purchase ("plus" edition), but it is not needed. Everything in the free edition is all you'll really need.
  2. I agree with jmortensen. I like spybot first, then ad-aware second. I recommend running both programs and their updates at least once a week. When I was a tech support rep, we would use both programs to remove spyware on our clients' computers. You can run both programs on your computer as long as you have windows 2000 and above (otherwise, install one or the other). A friend of mine installed both programs on a windows 95 or 98 (i forget) computer. All spyware was removed, however the following day the internet connection was not working. After running a few tests, as well as that the ISP was fine, we uninstalled both programs. Afterwards, the connection was back and running.
  3. I think the GTR has a 4.11, and the GTS-T has a 4.33, but I could be wrong.
  4. If I may ask, how much is the block and the head going to cost?
  5. what about having 2 twin turbo cars LHD 240z with the RB RHD Fairlady with an L motor and the Trust twin turbo manifold
  6. Don't forget me Jamie...I believe I was one of the first ones to inquire about a kit
  7. See this thread from Zcar.com: http://www.zcar.com/forums/read.php?f=1&i=573917&t=573912#reply_573917 The member 1 fast Z has sonic tested both blocks and the N42 is more rigid and thicker. I have asked JeffP and he recommended the N42 block as well for a stroker turbo L-motor.
  8. Hi. Does anyone know the part number for this item? Thank you.
  9. 300zx NA CVs will not bolt up with the TT rear end. Only 300zx TT or q45 CVs will work (NA has the 5 bolt pattern, TT and Q45 have he same 6 bolt pattern). Here's what you basically need (taken from Tim240z's instructions): -Q45 or 300zxtt diff -4 Q45/300zxtt axles (take apart and get the 4 CVs) -new halfshafts (speedway engineering or moser) -pair of CV adapters (Tim240z, another hybridz member...sorry I forgot the username, and modern motorsports all make adapters) -can of grease -driveshaft flange (depends on which diff you go with) -fabricate a diff mount -drill the r200 mustache bar (or buy a new one from arizona z car) I have a set of 4 CV joints for this swap, already taken apart and cleaned. PM me if you are interested. Good luck!
  10. If the flanges are the same size, how about using the 6 bolt flange on the outer side since there is an adaptor already made for it? If anyone is interested, I have sets of 6 bolt flanges (4 flanges, boots, internals) for sale already taken apart, cleaned, and separated in baggies. And I have Q45 rear ends as well...just shoot me a PM if interested.
  11. How's that going by the way Jamie...I'm very interested
  12. I am also interested in the Datsun T5 upgrade. Please keep me posted as well about the price. Thanks!
  13. CORRECTION: This was the only pic show when accessing the FairladyZ turbo manifolds section. Its not the L series manifold. http://www.trust-power.com/nissan/fairladyz/greddy/sus_turboex_mani.html Use this to get a translation for the site: http://babelfish.altavista.com/ Car type Turbine Price w/o tax CODE S30/S31 TD-05/06 twin ¥190,000 10521010 S130/HS130 TD-07 single ¥180,000 10521009
  14. Maybe the PO swapped it out before giving it to the junkyard
  15. Its an 86 though. The LSD came in mid-87' (I think April) turbo 300zx to 89'.
  16. Hi all! I was just wondering if any one knew where I could get a new set of metal tail light panel clips for my 240z...that ones that are welded to the body that the tail light panels clip onto. The body shop removed the clips when replacing my rear pan, and I'm having a hard time sourcing a set. Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks!
  17. Hi John. You can try Ross Pistons also. Here's the link to the website: rosspistons.com I'm going to get my pistons there...ask for Ian.
  18. Hi. I'd be interested in the throttle body if you decide to part it out. Good luck!
