    a friend of mine has front and rear 240z strut towers/tubes that he is throwing away. i'm thinking about picking them up and put them in the 280z because i have tokico that fit in a 240z strut tube. will it fit and is it worth doing the conversion?

    $600, HELL NO. decline that offer. take your car to a shop and have an estimate. give them the quoted estimate. OR you can find another 240z and show them how much it will cost to buy another one.
