  3. Hi ! Thanks for your reply - I have now found a viable way of contacting him, even though i know that he no longer owns the car. Yes...its a beauty, and Im wanting to base my car around the way that his car looks....Just love the Dish on the wheels, and the way it sits ! Thanks so much for your help ! Woza
  4. Thanks !...I have messaged that user...hopefully he replies !
  5. Mods Please move if this Post is in the wrong spot - I wasn't sure where to place it ! OK, I have had my 260Z for a long time, and After finding this picture, I have decided that its the right wheel/Flares selection for me. I would LOVE to get in contact with the owner, or if its been on-sold, the original builder, to get the EXACT specs of the wheels & Tyres & Flares. Yes, i know that there will are plenty of wheels out there similar, but for me, these ones look Spot on the way they sit on the car. So, that information would be invaluable for me ! So, Please guys and Gals - Anybody who knows, or might know anything, please reply to me - I would very much appreciate it ! Cheers in Advance ! Woza !
  6. Hey ! I know this post is like a zillion years old.... and it's a longshot....but thought it was worth a try.... you don't by chance still have this oil pan don't you? Desperately looking for one for my RB26DETT 260Z Project Please let me know, Warren
  7. Ross.....Yes....thats exactly how it should be. Thanks for the photo and update - post more when its finished ! Cheers Warren
  8. Make sure you run a tap through the bolt holes first though mate....i believe a number of brackets werent threaded all the way through....
  9. Hi Alex... Sorry to hear you are having these problems. As you said... not unexpected, as I clearly documented these issues with the stock cable before the ordering process began. The only way i see if rectifying the problem, would be to remove the extra tab on the lever arm entirely, then grinding the arm to shape so that it will accept the cable clevis. If you do this, ensure you remove as little material as possible whilst still allowing free travel of the clevis through the whole travel arc of the lever Keep us informed how you go! Warren
  10. Ahh fair enough....I get it now.....I was simply wondering where the reference to FRONT brakes came from. Cheers
  11. Cheers Rob....glad it made it there ! haha Look forward to seeing your pics etc.. All the Best.. Woza
  12. Oh I see......I asked about this at the post office, and i was not allowed to have $500 insurance with $0 value.....Anyway, glad its all worked out ! I'm confused....the "front" Caliper ?.....I'm wondering why the reference to the front brakes ?
  13. My Pleasure Joel. Thanks for being a repeat customer!
  14. So PLeased they finally arrived !....what was the problem with Customs ? No !....definately not intentional.....the threads SHOULD go all the way through. In fact, this perhaps may have been the same problem that I encountered....I had to run a tap through the Main Caliper holes on mine also, but I assumed that it was paint (I couldnt see properly as they were mounted on the car). I can only apologize for this, and hope that no one else has this issue...It cant be everyone because one person fitted their kits no problem. Yes, the Thread for the main Caliper holes is 3/8 24 Cheers Warren
  15. Gents... I too fitted my kit this week (I still had the prototype kit fitted !). As you know, I sandblasted, then painted mine brackets. When i was fitting them, I had done everything and was at the stage of bolting the calipers up to the bracket. I was surprised when the 2 bolts for the main caliper got VERY tight, and to the point where they would tighten no more without extra leverage.. So..I removed the rotor, and ran a tap through the holes....it was the paint !.....i have never experienced this before, and after i ran the tap through, the bolts went in as they should !. So.....this is just a heads-up for all you guys getting your brackets powder coated (or even painted) ....make sure you at least try threading your bolts all the way through EACH hole BEFORE you fit the brackets up. Its a little awkward re-tapping them once the bracket is bolted up ! Cheers
  16. Joel... Yep..pads come with the Mc4's! Love the red...wish all mine were red lol
  17. This is Fantastic news !....THANKS !...Whilst i know they fit, Its always a nervous time until customers get them, and fit them without any problems !. So thanks for the feedback !. Please feel free to post some pics if you are so inclined ! Did you get your brackets powder coated ? Thanks Warren
  18. Alexander....Firstly, are you talking about the kit for the Front Wheels, or the main caliper mounting on the Back wheels ? USA still mostly uses imperial, instead of metric.....so, that 10.1mm thread diameter is most probably 3/8" 24 thread. That is the same as what is in the AZC supplied Rear Caliper mounts, and I have also used that thread on My Rear Brackets so that people dont have to change their Bolts. Hope this helps Has your kit arrived ? Cheers Warren
  19. All Parcels In the Post and on their way !. Please let me know when you receive them ! You all requested to have your brackets Sent Raw....for those who are thinking of Powder Coating....please ensure that the Powder Coat is minimally thick on mounting faces....it may affect the offsets slightly. I have attached a pic here of plates in 3 different stages.... (1) Raw, (2) Sandblasted, and (3) Painted after sandblasting. For me, painting is totally adequate, as almost none of the Bracket is visible anyway. Thanks Guys !
  20. Guys, You have all been great with your Patience. A HUGE thank-you for that. Its been difficult to co-ordinate because i have also just stared a new job, and of course whenever I need to do things, Im at work !!! Anyhow, All Boxed up and ready to go. they will all be in the mail tomorrow. I sincerely hope that you are all happy, and I cant wait to hear some feedback, and please make sure you post pics on here ! I would appreciate a quick message to let me know when your parcels arrive safely ! Thanks again Gentlemen ! Regards Warren
  21. That odd looking cut-out is to allow for clearance on the strut....this became evident on the prototype set when i first mounted them on the initial test fit..they werent sitting flush ... i had to attack the prototypes with a grinder to get them to seat properly!
  22. Look what i picked up from the machinists today... Cables will be ready hopefully toward the end of next week. In the meantime....i will package up a full kit with the prototype cable, so that i can go to the post office and get prices and options for postage. For those of you who ordered brackets only...same scenario..... So...be prepared for an email around wednesday... Getting closer peeps!....thanks for your patience
  23. Hi All, OK....For the past two weeks I have been politely pressuring both the Machinists, and the Cable Manufacturer. I have heard back from both of them today. - The Machinist - They have been struggling with workload....currently working 24 hours a day. I was told that the brackets "should" be done by the end of the week. - Cable Manufacturer - Got word back today - the Custom fittings had to be made, and are currently being electroplated. They will be assembled later on this week, or very early next week, with delivery towards the end of next week. I wish I had better news.....Unfortunately its stuff that's out of my control, but we're almost there guys...I appreciate your patience. As soon as I get the plates back, I can use the prototype cable in the packaging to get postage prices, so you should all receive emails with postage prices and options early next week. Those of you that ordered the kit without the Cable, your kits will be able to be posted hopefully early next week also. Cheers Warren
  24. Update: Plates should be done in the next day or two. Cables will arrive early next week. Cheers Warren
  25. Sure mate - Ive noted that you also want yours RAW as well.
