  1. Sheesh, Doc...way to bust our bubbles...( oh, well, must be the clean living... Wayne
  2. Bobby, that is a mean little machine! Great stuff...I'm impressed.. Wayne
  3. rsicard, the mounting brackets that come with the fuel rails are drilled in a couple of different places. I am using the stock brackets and the bottom holes. You have to fiddle with them when you are putting the bolts through, but they work fine with F.A.S.T. injectors. Certainly nothing stops you from using the Pico injectors, it was just my preference to use the others. If the stock brackets didn't work, I would have made some that did. Wayne
  4. RSICARD, As you can see, I use the F.A.S.T. injectors, they are standard length, not pico's. Used the Edelbrock fuel rails that are made for the ProXT came from the tank with a -10 line, split Y into two -8 lines, one for each rail, came out of the front of the rails with two -8 and into an Aeromotive progressive regulator (each 1 lb of boost raises the fuel pressure by 1 psi) and a -8 fuel return line back to the tank. Thanks Mr. Warren....see ya at the track. Wayne
  5. Went to the 1/8th track last night, made 2 runs, first run out of the box was a 6.45 at 111.47 lousy 60 ft time of 1.57. Short shifted and 3/4 throttle. 12 lbs of boost, 93 octane pump gas 2nd run was full throttle, 1.48 60 foot, kinda got out of the groove and headed toward right lane, let off, kicked it, let off, kicked it again and completed the run...still ran a 6.80. Got the data log files back and running 'way rich...will lean it out, continue to check timing. Drove it there, drove it back. I believe we got us a hotrod...) Wayne
  6. I'm all over that one, Warren...that will definitely be a historic benchmark! ) Wayne
  7. rsicard...actually, I'm only using the ProXT and the 90mm throttlebody from Edelbrock...ignition and timing are ElectromotiveGT and injectors are F.A.S.T. 96 lb/hr units. Wayne
  8. Thanks for the kudo's folks...I have high hopes that I might set a precedent and actually make a pass this year...) Wayne
  9. As promised, sneaking up on a tune at 12 lbs of boost...just a quick run...sounds like a cadillac...) Recent pics also Wayne
  10. Super Cool! Sounds like he is doing well. Darn, I wish I knew you were going blow-through, I have a blow-through I only used once last year...oh well, I still have it if anyone is interested. It is a Pro-Systems 850 CFM I had special built. Spec sheet and blank air bleeds come with it.
  11. you are too kind, Jerry...let's hope it runs as good as it looks.. Speaking of Rip, have you heard from him lately? I seem to have lost him... Wayne
  12. Thanks to everyone for the kind comments...hope it lives up to the hype.. Hey John..thank you...I will be sure to get some video of the power runs once tuned...don't want to divulge TOO much information, ya know...Hope you and Jerry are tweeking the monster car... Warren...you give me too much credit...at the rate I'm going, it might be NEXT DNI before I am ready (just kidding) Hey Rick...your hotrod is looking fantastic! Hope to see you at DNI Wayne
  13. My sources say to never use chambered mufflers on a turbo motor...
  14. Yes, 4" down to 3"...IC is dual 2.5" in and 3" out MoNkEyT88: No video, just pics...once we get to the power tuning runs, will try to remember to video...
  15. I think a lot of folks missed the pics because it took me a while to get them up and they got buried on page 2 of the thread...here they are for those who missed them: Wayne
  16. Davy, you are on top of things...) As far as I can tell, the wide-body kit is a JCR. I got the air dam from the Z Store...it is a type 3 fiberglass, pn 50-1439 and cost around $230. Because of the wide-body kit, I had to section it and add 2 inches to the center. I think MSA stands for Motorsport Auto???
  17. Those are Dynomax straight-through...very quiet and good flow...
  18. Don't forget to check for vacuum leaks while you are wandering around under the hood...bend the hoses to make sure they aren't cracked as well...
  19. Hey Mike...thanks for the kudo's...If you noticed the headlights, then you had to notice the rear and the front fenders (from the rear view)...the body is a wide-body kit...not sure who from but they did a pretty nice job on it. Headlights will go back in shortly... wayne
  20. You're a sick man, Dale...we've got to get you back to work! ) I'm actually glad you said that, because I have to paint my high-tech one to match the car... Wayne
  21. Thank you to whomever got the uploads to work...these were supposed to go with the first post...base tuning in process...) Wayne
  22. Chevydoc, can't seem to post pics at this point, however, I back-halved the car, used two X two stock to replace the original and ran them from the back half and tied it in with the front frame rails as well as a roll cage. Wayne
  23. Can't seem to post pics (JPEG) from any computer. did the rules change, site not working properly, or is it operator head space..? Can anybody shed some light? first time I have not been able to upload. Wayne
  24. I believe you are right, Justin, however, trying to be conservative...this is a street-driven car, ya know.. Wayne
  25. Thanks, ZGad...it's a shame I have to do all this just to try to keep up with you and your six cylinder....I feel embarrassed...) Wayne
