  1. did my annual road inspection (mot in UK, don't know what you americans call it) it went quite good, the inspection guy didn't know what cind of car it was. he was impressed with the modell and asked me quite som questions about it. i happely told him as much as i know of the modell and what i had done with it. there was only one problem that will make me go back there, that is the headlights wich didn't light up in the right angels and directions as they should (cheap ebay headlights, but they looks good) found theese instead that are e-marked and has a approved light image/light angel think they will look nice on the car, dark and mysterious they comes from a vw golf mkII bought me a set of monitors and dvd player 1 in-dash 7" monitor 1 ugly monitor wich i will NOT use 1 dvd-player that handels most formates. the price was right so there was no discussion what to do, just buy it just have to see where it will fit....
  2. dampered the car a bit in the trunk, more is to come... hope the car wont make that much noice...
  3. small update of what has been done today after work. changed the flasherglass that i made of plexiglass 2 years ago. white 200sx/180sx glas done also a small difference between the new and the old tires... mounted the side repaters today, better picture tomorrow. also given the car new oil (mobil1) as all my cars and new oilfiter.
  4. time for a new update. bought some new wheel lugs for my 17" also started to mount the chrome around the windows. today did i got the new rims from the sponsor. just waiting for the spacers to arrive so i can mount them!!! the old VS. the new rims.
  5. a few pic's from today. the seats are in the car (not installed on the passanger side, but on the driver side) the polished ring that goes around the subwoofer has arrived, whats left is to polish it and mount it there, thinking about taking away the rubber "filling" that goes around the subwoofer from the factory to get more chrome the Nissan Skyline R33 v-spec taillights arrived yesterday =) i'll see what i'm going to do with them...
  6. that really looks nice. i hope the the widening will be as nice as the roof chopping i hope that you will weld the rear wiper hole so it will get i smoother look.
  7. looking quite good the thoose seats, but i think you now have to match the interior the the new seats...
  8. i got that aerokit on my 1980 zx
  9. thanks' date=' that feels good today i got 2 new sponsors to my car. [b']Raidopower [/b] who has sponsored me with 2 racingseats that fits really nice, pictures will come when i have charged the camera batteries. Däck & Service Center i södertälje who has sponsored me with tires for my 17" rims picture of the seat from the sponsors homepage.
  10. ordered a new shift knob... blackchrome nismo-style
  11. 2 more pictures, can't find the charger for the camera so the pictures of the interior will have to wait.
  12. a little teaser before my cameras batteries are charged so i can the more and better pictures of the exterior and also the interior.....
  13. looks nice! take some more pictures when the car is outdoor in the sun.
  14. latest picture. the rear quarter window is installed (going to install the otherone tomorrow) i will paint the chrome parts black to make the fit the car better. the fron will come on to the car tomorrow aswell as the new wheels, then perhaps walsh the car and take some pictures in the sun
  15. the plan of making my own taillights have perhaps changed a bit. i just bought me a pair of nissan skyline r33 taillights... these will probably be molded into the original taillightframes....
  16. yea yea.... when will you get your project to start looking as good as mine mull a small update.
  17. thanx another FRESH picture, the rear spoiler is on position
  18. another update. starting to mount the bodykit. today it will be the sideskirts and perhaps the rear spoiler might even the front spoiler needed to adjust the right door a bit to make the sideskirt fit between the lower part of the door and the door opening of the car, took some time but after a few angry words the sideskirt was there and didn't touch the door.
  19. thanks you all for the positive comments. some new pics for today. i've cut out the Z in the boot floor, made new weatherstripping that goes around the hatch. it's a universal weatherstripping that is supposed to go in the door openings, but it was PERFECT for the hatch opening. looks SO much better then the dry and broken original rubber!!! then did i put back the weatherstripping that goes around the door (not door opening, thoose did i do a couple of days ago) I also made som minor adjustmens (sanding) on the cover and boot floor. the pic's there's a loot of dust and parts left from the sanding of products in the garage that makes the interior messy. the leather is not treated yet and the pictures are taken with a flash, what i'm trying to say is that it looks MUCH better live!
  20. really like thoose seats, they will fit reallly nice! perhaps some inspiration of my 280zx http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=105185&page=2
  21. today i've re-installed the weatherstripping around the doors and the other interior parts that goes there. when i tryed the floor in the boot i realised that the leather made the floor and cover a bit to big, so i have to cut of a piece of the edged around them to get the to fit better.. still i think it is getting better and better, tomorrow i will cut out the Z in the floor (thats under the leather for the moment)
  22. mull as you know i import my own blackpanel/defi-style gauges from taiwan if your interested
  23. todays work: starting to make the voltmeter (blackpanel gauge that i import from taiwan) to fit and work in the centerhole of the steeringwheel instead of the horn button. then have i mounted the covers that goes behind the door opening and aslo the inner roof and some other panels. i've also painted the backside of the floor in the boot black, just for a nicer look. the whole interior will be installed tomorrow so new pictures then.
  24. finally got the carpet done today, bought from a "home store" quite cheap i payed about 30$ for it and more then i needed tomorrow will i install the rest of the interior incl. the floor in the boot wich is now covered with black suede/leather. the real lights are comming toghether aswell, some work left but still not too much left. (where the lines cross i'm drilling holes for the led diodes)
