  1. the easiest way (and cheapest) just buy one that has the right diamter and make your own brackets, the connect it to a switch that you turns on when you fell you will be needing it. don't forget to remove the horrible org. fan, this is what i have done in my 280zx
  2. finally have i painted the interior parts and redressed the rest with leather. well i let the pictures talk for the self. then the new headlights i've talked about. battery box/holder (you can shake the hole car with it) the interior test fitted =) so the car is starting to take shape
  3. that car is awsome, seen it a few times at differnent shows here in sweden! and the engine sound *jummy* the finnish of the car is really greate, there is no effort sawed there!
  4. looking greate! really like thoose flares, how much bigger are they? what engine will you be running? L28ET? RB26? chevy v8? ford v8?
  5. look greate, i my selve is thinking about similar (but in cf) if and when you buy them and mount the you MUST send/post pictures so that i can see =)
  6. looks really nice! sounds as a good idea to make more "failing" timeplans for you car, "been there done that".... after a few "failed" timeplans you just stop making them and start focus (even more) on getting it done nicely! are you going to use bucket covers aswell or leave the buckets open?
  7. finally did you philip make a thread here at hybridz (as i told you
  8. that's how they get you to buy, low auctionprice/iteamprice and then REALLY high shippingcosts... especcely if you live abroad eg. sweden i always have to email them before to get a price of the shippingcost (wich sometimes leads to that the auction ends and i don't get the product i really want!)
  9. H4 projectors, but still it's "projector look" that i'm after =)
  10. but if you compare the price 370$us +shipping to sweden compared to 130$us incl. shipping to sweden. then do i think that it's funnier to build it yourselves, done everything on my car by my selves...
  11. the round glowing thing outside the actual headlight (or how to say it) that you often can see on BMW's
  12. Now have i got a extra par of headlight buckets, and today did i buy a set of civic 99-00 headlights (unforenually with angeleyes, but still with projector headlights) so when they arrive do i just have to start cutting them in smaller peices and start to mold them in =)
  13. yes. that's a friend of mine, he bought his "rust free" 240z from the states last year... but it showed to be nothing but rust free but it will be awsome when it's finnished... probably so will there be a Rb26 in it =) but not until it is registered here in sweden... download the movies that he had made and also read the "story" in english at: http://forums.voodoo-people.com/mull/ http://forums.voodoo-people.com/mull/viewforum.php?f=2&sid=d8924052859f9f5f6342ab37fb058178 look at the treads wich has a "film" after the name and you can download the movies of the progress of the car =)
  14. thanks. it will without any problem hold it isn't as fragile as suede and that's a good thing and still looks nice and also has a reasonalbe price... the subwoofer box and the console will be painted in the cars colour, perhaps even some airbushing/flames with different typed of green that streetches from the front of the console and back over the subwoofer box =) the paint will probably be made next weekend when my painter hade some extra time.
  15. thanks. well it atleast looks like suede it's the backside of the leather the "fluffy" side, looks almost like suede, but a lot cheaper =) the seats will be replaced by some racingseats, black and perhaps silver in the cloathing.... i've just got my hands on new headlight buckets, so now i'll just have to find some nice headlights and start ripping thoose apart and mold them into my new buckets =)
  16. this weekend i´ve test fitted the interor and made som modifications so it would fit better. the interior is starting to look really nice now, but there´s some left to do, the wireing, the mounting of the amp's, filters, extra batteri where the sparetire ones was. some pictures then.
  17. i've got a luigi steeringwheel, nice quality, feel good when you use it, good gripping. ok the exhausttemp. gauge looks a bit od, but still they fit, so if you want an extra 2" gauge you know where to put it the horn button i rewired so i use the headlight "cleaning" button (hence i taken thoos away and used some glassfiber to get rid of them when i repainted it)
  18. can you take som photos of the car, the flares? can you put them on the car so that we can get a idea of how you want it to look?
  19. thanks... the better vocabulary i get the better
  20. Drftn280zxt i totaly agree with you about the angelseyes, they look cheap, but i hope that my idea is something similar, but if i find similar without angeleyes i don't think it would be so hard to build/mold them into the existing "headlight cover" (what is the real name for the glassfiber "thing" that's in front of the headlights?)
  21. what do you guys think about theese sidemirrors? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/89-94-NISSAN-240SX-S13-F1-CF-MIRRORS-MIRROR-90-91-92-93_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33649QQitemZ8015907231QQrdZ1 i think they could look really cool on my datsun...
  22. no idea at all, does anyone got a neon? neighbor perhaps? it think it could work nicely¨. "just" make 1 cut right in between the two lights take out the glassfiber "cover" for the org. headlight measure and connect them and then start to make them stick with eg. "melting glue" (or what the english name is for it) and adjust them towars a wall (where you got sketched the signature/lightning of the org. headlights) the best way would ofcasue be to use the same instrument that the shops use to adjust the headlights... but if this should work we need the measurement of the org. headlight from the neon. then perhaps make a mold of the finnished (not swedish ) product... that could be rally cool i think
  23. think i found the right one to modify =) DODGE NEON 95-99 from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99-DODGE-NEON-2-HALO-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS-96-97-98_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33710QQitemZ8015629830QQtcZphoto
  24. theese might work or what do you think? from a dodge neon 95-99 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99-DODGE-NEON-2-HALO-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS-96-97-98_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33710QQitemZ8015629830QQtcZphoto
  25. a8ksh4 i use 3M fastbond 30 works like a charm, glue on bouth sides (vinyl and the material you want it on) then just let it dry over the night then can you move around the vinyl/leather and then when you press it it sticks to the fabric and use eg a fan/hairdryer or something similar like a "heating gun" (don't know the english word for it)
