feels good to hear that! i'm always trying to make the car look nicer... with the new paint and the new audio installation the car will be MEAN!

thanx.... i'm going to sand down the car during this weekend to get a new paint on it, some IDIOT hade fun with a key on the roof and left fender this summer have any suggestions for colour/motiv/design on the paint? i'm thinking of a 2 colour paint, blackmetallic up to the middle of the car (belov the door opener) and a greenmettalic pain on the rest of the car... how does that sound?

i wounder if there's any other carmodels alternators that fits the 280zx? i would be nice to be able to buy another more common alternator that fits instead of buying a brand new one for twice the money...

why don't you just mold inte them yourself? not to hard... have got a pair of "small speakers" (don't know the english name for them) in my a-pillars and have build several with differnent gauges in them...

how do you plan to get the mechanical "signal" that's original to a digital version? do you plan to make a adapter to make ut work?

how are you planning to do with the instruments? are you going to keep the original? are you going to build some speakers there? how do you do with the speedometer? are you replacing it with a digital/autometer gauge?

i'm looking for pic's of glasfibre dash'es that people have made, modified for larger speakers and for new gauges (eg. autometer) everything to get some inspiration how i can rebuild my dash during the winter, i'm going to put in 4" speakers in the dash and a 7" screen, i will more or less make a brand new dash, but i would like some inspiration... so link ALL pic's of modified dahsbords here =)

i ment the lines that's in the middle of the car, about where the door handle is... if you make it a bit more smooth, not so sharp edges, it's not a Audi Rally-Quattro but a nice Datsun....

looks like it never was any undercoating there! I'm going to remove all my undercoating this winter and i can say that I'm NOT looking forward to it... bit with these tip it will perhaps be easier... thanx

i'm planning to build me a pair of led taillights this winter... not quite shore of the designt though, but first will i have to do a copy of my existing tailightsframes and start modding after that... =)

it was one if the ugliest datsuns i ever seen!!! just to kill a P1800es to get a zcar wagon... that should be a crime!!!

that black 280 looks really mean... oh, i would lite a bodykit like that... and ofcause an engine that has has as much power as the exterior makes you think...

i think you should leave it the way it is. you then got a HUGE outlet for the warm air from your brakes, if you also combine that with a inlet for cold air for the brakes then it would look MEAN!!
