  1. the interior will also have a lot of crome (audibahn subwoofer and amp.) and many details painted in bouth black and the cars colour, my painter did come with a suggestion today. that he uses the airbrush and makes motives on the subwooferbox, that could be REALLY cool =)
  2. that might be something, i really think it should be in black crome, carbonfiber is never wrong either we'll see how it ends up, looking forward for it... by the way i bought my selves a new "winter" car a nissan 180sx/200sx/s13 http://www.zatzy.com/showthread.php?t=238497 with arount 250 BHP =)
  3. Drftn280zxt i took the liberty to post your sketches at a swedish forum (where i got my project thread) but of cause did i say who had done the sketches.
  4. that could be a good idea, but i think that they would be really expensive does anyone got any figures?
  5. but that is not as fun as building it your selves i've done everything else with my car (with some help from good friends) on my own so why stop?
  6. some more updated pictures of the interior. i've finnished (ha ha, not the country) the cover between the B and C-pillar, the grey plastic thing for the belt will be repainted or replaced with a black one. i've finnished (no i'm still swedish the cover in the trunk, the yellow/beige leather looks SOOOOOO nice i think, especcely (or how that's spelled) with the black thread seam. http://www.zatzy.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=16103&stc=1.jpg more is still to come....
  7. Drftn280zxt they look greate! will be looking around to other carmodels and se if a can find the right type of headlights so that i can start to experimentate with my own (must get my a extra pair for headlight "covers" thoose in glassfiber) about the taillights so will i this weekend measure and try to find the right flashlight or something similar to starting to fabricate my own LED taillights perhaps from a stoplight at the crossings got the link of the LED i ment: http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/altezza-gita/diy-tail2-01.htm
  8. Thanks, that's the link i was looking for... this weekend i will be measuring differnent flashlights (and other cirkular things with lights in them eg. stoplights ) if i find something that has the right diameter for the 280zx taillights i will soon start to build my own LED tails for my 280zx =)
  9. we'll see how it gets. thinking of using the reflector of flashlights and then drill in the led in to them, i saw a page on internet some time ago with a japaneese (i think) that had done something similar to a lexus (i think again) i think it can be really nice
  10. i saw some time ago of a japaneese car (new one, think it was a lexus) where he did a led tranformation with help of the lens/reflector of a flashlight with a lot of pictures but the text in japaneese (i think) does someone remember this link?
  11. Drftn280zxt would you like to do some more sketches of the taillights and the headligts? imagen why i want other pictures of them
  12. really like thoose pictures! the headlights are really something i would like to have on my 280zx... i've started to make my own taillights for the car only the outer frame is left of the original taillights and there will be LED instead of bulbs. =)
  13. that's a swedish guy that build that one.... see if i can find some more pictures of it... edit: just saw that you had the link to his homepage. anyway it is EVENT better to look at in reality!
  14. GREATE link. hell i really want to make my own coilover conversion now!!!
  15. Isn't that hard to build one yourselfes. make a 52mm ring out of wood the use glue or "melt glue" (don't know the english name for it) to stabilize it to the a-pillar (with small sticks or something like that) then use for instanse an old t-shirt or som fleece. anyway something that you can stretch. when it is fixed to the a-pillar when you have got the shaped that you want. then use polyester plastic and let it harder. then use some glassfiber to make it harder then just sand it until you're happy. then can you either use vinyl, leather or paint it. good luck.
  16. why not build one yourself? here's some pic's from one that a friend of mine has build.
  17. i would like the taillights, can you ship to sweden? sir_daniel@home.se
  18. Thanks for the comments. i also think that the leather will look MUCH nicer then vinyl (that i only been building with before) I just hope that the rest of the leather will arrive soon so i can continue. about the 2" gauge in the center of the stearingwheel, i got a crazy idea and thought that it might fit, then i tried and it did =) i see how i will do with it and wich gauge i will have there (if any), i will customize the dashboard during the winter i got a frame that is beeing shiped any day.
  19. finally so does my "slightly" modifyed interior becoming a reality... the interior is built to be a show/ICE car, but that doesn't mean that i will allow it to totaly flip. some pictures of the parts i covered with leather, more is to come and the rest will be painted in the cars colour. i haven't suceeded in finding a webhotel where i can link the pictures from so i link from a swedish forum that i "hang at" interior before: http://www.zatzy.com/showthread.php?t=160874&page=13&pp=20 http://www.zatzy.com/showthread.php?t=160874&page=14&pp=20 and now. http://www.zatzy.com/showthread.php?p=2515608#post2515608 now am i waiting for the rest of the leather so i can complete the interior
  20. some new pics of the interior. http://photobucket.com/albums/v405/sir_Daniel/?action=view&current=a1.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/v405/sir_Daniel/?action=view&current=a2.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/v405/sir_Daniel/?action=view&current=a3.jpg
  21. can you turn/move the alternator up and down? if yes just use a cowbar to get it loose. then you have to get the damn thing out of the engine room, al the cooling hoose'es and the servosteering hooses makes it "abit" more difficult...
  22. hopefully so will i put the car back together, i will also test fit the interior (for the first time al togheter). the subwooferbox is now ready to get sprayed with "sanding paint" (does anyone know the english name for it?) i will also finnish the floor in the trunk. so there is alot that is going to happend this weekend =)
  23. the colours that we used was: Audi L6ZL cactusgreen och 332XG mixpaint from the manefactuer Sickens
