hmmm sounds like he got the case of "Lazy assness" get a whip and tie him to a charriot... see if it gets him going... i've been through three people with my Z, and the guy that i found currently working on my car is great, half now half later done in 3 weeks. and great price. i could have recomended him to you if you live in so cal area.

hello all, read through all 15 pages, great reading by the way with all the different options. Had a quick question about brake clearance for watanabes. Fronts are my main concern, i'm running 16x9 -13offset. I know these wheels will clear with stock set up... I was thinking of going with the s12+8 calipers for the solid rotor set up but dont know if they will clear my wheels? Should i just stick with stock setup? has anyone had experience with the watanabes? it would be awesome to know what others are using with the "wats" and what clears with these wheels. I know 240hoke's has wilwoods but i aint as ballin as him. Any suggestions?

what do you think of the fitment with the s12+8 caliper for the solid rotors?? you think the fitment would be better? or do i still need to run wheels spacers?

^16x9 -13 fronts and 16x9.5 -19 rears, too bad my car is at the body shop right now getting a new paint job.. when i get these suckers on, i will update for sure

my watanabes, will update when i get them on my car. took them out of the box to get some sunlight.

aye dwarlick, you got any photos of your install of your wheels and your brakes together? wanted to see fitment?

thanks man, i read over this thread before, it looks like i will be going S12+8's with some vented rotors route. When i was reading through your thread you ran into fitment issues with rubbing on the fender and air damn. What did you do to make the fitment work with the ZG Flares and fender? how is it with the spacers?

I have a set of watanabes ready to be installed on my 240z... wanted to know what type of front and rear brake setups everyone has that will fit with the watanabes 16x9 -13 and 16x9.5 -19. I know willwoods will fit, 240hoke's wheels are running willwoods brakes with his wheels. i wanted to go with a rear disc brake upgrade, and maybe a front 4 piston toyota pickup brakes. Please let me know your setups and suggestions. thanks in advance.

I've done some searching but couldnt really find the right answers... so decided to ask? I am looking at some new suspension for my S30. I've been really looking into the Ground Control Coilover Conversion kit. I currently have them on my 2nd Gen RX7 and love them. I know what it takes to install them on to our struts, I just wanted to know what is the best combo for strut and GC kit combo? I've been looking into Tockico Illumnias, KYB's. Plans for my S30 is a lowered height of 2in. to 3in. (I've read around that if i want to go that low i would need shortened struts?) I want a stiffer suspension with some adjustabily. I currently have ZG flares with watanabes ready to be installed, want them to fit nicely without it looking like a tonka truck this is my project show car and mainly a weekend driver, spirited driving only. any advice is appreciated, thanks in adance.
