Like Zero said, if they are an established member here. Auction sites use feedback which will give you some indication of a persons history. I would have no worries about getting my merchandise. Also get pictures and get all your concerns answered BEFORE buying to avoid problems.

The spacer would lower the steering assy which would change the angle of the steering rod.

Strange, as most of the problems other people were having with a soft pedal was cured with removing the rear check valve but no one mentioned the front check valve as there is one there.

Did the Toyota 4x4 front brake upgrade.
Have Maxima discs in the rear.
In looking at the manual for the ZX Master, it shows that there are check valves on both the Rear and Front systems.
I know to remove the REAR Check Valve but what about the FRONT one?
Remove it or leave it alone?

I thought they are the same.
Autopower list them as fitting from 1970 to 1983.
Unless yours is a 2+2 which is different

225-45-17 Fronts 245-45-17 Rear
16Gal Fuel Cell & Battery mounted in cutout spare tire well.
No room next to fuel cell for muffler. Only exhaust pipe.
Dual 2-1/2" Exhaust pipes.
I measured my frame rail height at 5" Front crossmember at 5-3/4" Front of Diff 7"
Oil Pan at 4-1/4" Header Down Pipe 4"
My Rails are 2" below the floor pan.
The Flowmasters is 4" high. Want to run 2 of them.
Putting the H-Pipe just behind the trans.
I just can't figure out where to put the mufflers as I don't think I have enough clearance.
Looks like the best I could do is around 2-1/2" ground clearance with a 1/2" between the muffler and the floor.
The other alternative is to mount them at an angle under the rear control arms.
I know others have done it with enough clearance. Any other ideas? Pics would help greatly.

I am installing my exhaust and couldn't find what is a good number to shoot for in regards to exhaust ground clearances.
Trying to decide if my Flowmasters will fit without constantly scraping the pavement.
Mainly it will be a street car.

The dash came out nice.
One tip that I did was to use only 2-3 screws to hold it on the metal frame to prevent it from cracking again.
The gauges themself will hold it to the metal frame and once mounted it is not going anywhere.

If it cranks I would offer him $600-700 and take my chances. Gives you $250-350 for repairs.
If you get it running for him, it takes your bargaining power away.

Looks like your bleed valve is not at the highest point. I had to rotate the caliper so that the bleed valve is at the highest point on the caliper.
I used a power bleeder so I didn't have to pump the brakes. Others have used a piece of wood to have the calipers clamp down on when bleeding them.

Been about a year and a half and no cracks yet. Isn't running yet so it hasnt been out in the sun or have body vibrations.

Like others have said, sell it to someone that can use it rather than scrap it.
No sense having something around that you know you will never use.
Use the money for something that you can use.

Not sure if it is the same as a 280z but there is a valve that comes off the master cylinder that is for the idiot light that might be triggered. This valve is between the master and the valve that separates the front from the back brakes. If so you just need to recenter the piston in the valve.

0-90 ohms for GM in 2-5/8 size.

I think I may have got lucky , the rust bucket 240z I'm striping might have a zx master cylinder , anyone have any pics or way to ID , I know its a nabco and it is 15/16 so I want to confirm if its allready set up for rear disks , I think its the right one but just want to try to be sure before I swap it over.

If it says 15/16 and it bolts up to the booster it's the right one. Mounting tabs should be vertical instead of horizontal.
