  1. You really need to contact Dave. These are custom parts and likely that nobody else has had the issue or it would have been found in a previous post. And don't drve the car... That'll destroy those rotors. They don't look "bad" yet. Mike
  2. Unfortunately the shindig was cancelled. We found out my Father inlaw has cancer, and we've been spending a fair amount of time at the hospital. Mike
  3. Straight up. I ended up with a McCleod unit from Summit Racing. Call their tech line and tell them what you're doing and they can set you up with the proper bellhousing/flywheel/clutch setup. I went with the TKO 600 and hope it'll do well. We're running the road race gearing and the Infinity Q45. Mike
  4. Everything here is no longer relevant to the build...
  5. So in the "end" we settled on Viper metalic silver with blacked out MSA Type3 air dam, Beta Motorsports carbon hood, Juan's Carbon tailight panel, euro tail lights, blue plastic headlight assemblies, and ZG flares. I'm running a rear pedistal mount fo-carbon wing. Before installing spoilers, flares, wheels and other goodies... Mocking up flares/testing wheel clearances. mmmm Carbon fiber... Pre-Carbon hood/MSA Type3 And with the MSA Type3 and Carbon hood...
  6. And no "track car" could be complete without a "track car" interior, right?
  7. So I finally settled in on brakes after having some of the best known suppliers sell me brake kits over the last 10 years... Can you say requirements creep? They're OEM Mustang Cobra brakes from 93-2004. They work with Jamie T.s aluminum front hub and MMLs rear stub axle. I went with the forged version. Mike
  8. The suspension is all my ZFracing front Stuff: This is a very old add and no I don't sell them anymore...
  9. I bought this car from Chris Cloude in Spring 2002. I'd originally picked the car up with Chris in Summer 2000. We'd taken my truck and a rented car trailer to North Carolina. Chris had his dad make a rotissary and they fixed all the rust issues in the firewall and battery box, and welded in Pete P.'s frame rail design. Chris then removed all the sound deadening and then all work stopped... I bought the car from Chris for $1000 for the car and three loads of parts that I promptly sold for about $1500. Early pics of the car... Mike
  10. And um yea, I searched... Where the heck do you get the flange bolts for the infinity Q45 Axles??? I have 12, but need 24! TIA!! Mike
  11. I'd absolutely be concerned, and even if your dog wins out in the scrap, what's it contracted from the battle with that other critter? Also, that sounds like a large Coyote. They're pretty nasty, so proceed with caution. Mike
  12. Bill, I'd try to source a better quality 5th gear if one is available. My guess is that those teeth will do some major harm floaring around in there... Mike
  13. Well I believe I've been talked into keeping the holley computer/FI setup... Jeff Creech said he's cool tuning it and knows the stuff. I guess I'll just plumb everything to accept the existing FI. Now to source a surge tank for the system... Mike
  14. Damn Im' not on here enough lately... This is simply amazing... I love the design of the rear coilover/axle carrier. That is exactly what we should have instead of stub axles. Bravo, Techno-Toy! Bravo!!! Gabe, you got email... Mike
  15. I got my stuff cheap, but I traded a LSD R200 3.70 gear rear for two Q45s with adapters and extra parts, and then won an auction on ebay for a $100 for mustach bar, OEM front mount, and other misc. parts for the Q45. I paid Tim about $700 for a pair of Speedway engineering axles, and I'm trying to source the axle bolts right now. Mike
  16. IT's very expensive to do the Q45. I'm almost done with my install, and If I had it to do over, I'd not do it... Mike
  17. The dash comes wider than the inside of the car... You can cut it down very easy with some tin snips and I used a holesaw to start the holes for the gages... Mike
  18. So this is the Jegs sheetmetal dash, along with some Phantom gages, and a moroso switch box with starter button. I used mcmaster-car edging that really helps cover the sharp edges and make it look more finished. I like the simple way it's attached. Just 6 bolts remove the dash. The fuse panel is bolted to the framework at the passenger side of the door jamb, and all my electrical is now working. My car is a 99% track car, so this is ideal for me, and the reduction in weight was amazing... I lost well over 40# in swapping to this setup, not including ditching the vents/heater controls/and other associated junk that was burried under the dash! Mike
  19. So David, Me living in the Washington DC Area all my life and being a Dallas Cowboys fan really irks YOU??? HELL Boy, YOU JUST MADE MY MONTH!!!! Mike
  20. Say what you want, but I'm not aware of another team getting caught in this manor... They were caught, fined and now they've gone undefeated... And they'll go down in the books as being cheaters! 20 years from now when they're talking about the "perfect season" they will absolutely footnote it with the "They were caught cheating and fined at the beginning of the year"... Idiots... Mike
  21. Sucks... The Patriots have gone 18-0 and will be in the superbowl. And regardless, their season is tainted. Don't get caught cheating and you won't have a cloud handing over the most important season of your franchise history! Idiots... Mike
  22. To the right person a super clean example would bring between $10-20K. I know of a 75 280Z right now that is well worth that. If this car is truly in that condition without any doordings/dents or rust, I'd expect it to be able to be sold well over the $6-8K range. Find the right person, that's the key. Mike
  23. "Run Forest... R-U-N"! That hurt my eyes seeing all that rust... Mike
