  1. I don't think you can safely re-use an MLS headgasket. There are "crumple zones" (for lack of a better term) that are pressed flat when you torque down the head. They stay compressed even when you remove the head, and the gasket isn't as effective the second time around.

  2. Are there any other forums available for the z cars? I found a few, more based upon the 80s and 90s. I'm a big researcher, and having multiple resources helps. Thanks

There's about a trillion more... but thas a start.

  3. Schneider Cams & Comp Cams are both good (VERY WELL KNOWN) companies... and like Mtcookson said, have them cut you a grind to your spec.... which also means.... DO RESEARCH ON WHAT GRIND YOU WANT. :D

  4. We could spend hours and incredible amounts of bandwidth describing to you the “ins and outs†on L-6 cylinder heads and which is best for what application, Turbos and how to set them up, Engine management, etc, (all of which has been covered in great detail on this forum already and can be read about using the search feature).

Wait... you mean this has been asked about 1 trillion times before? :D

  5. I guess the general thought are that this wouldn't be a good idea then?

Here's another thread that references the n/a swap: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=116623

It can be done, but it involves tons of rewiring. You will have to cut all the 280zx ecu wires, trace them to where they should go on the Z31 ecu & re-connect them all... It's not a horrible job, just very time consuming compared to other do it yourself stand alone instalations. It's very easy to do on the 280zxt because the ecu connections are the same as the Z31 & the ecu's are programmed similarly.
