Sunbelt Racing Engines (770) 932-0160. Bring about $15-20k.
Indeed... anything is possible... it just depends on how deep your pockets are.
-
I'm sure you could. Just need to fab up some strong brackets. Are you swapping engines weekly???

It's welded for a reason...

Are there any other forums available for the z cars? I found a few, more based upon the 80s and 90s. I'm a big researcher, and having multiple resources helps. Thanks
GOOGLE my friend.... google.

Using the SEARCH type in VALVE or VALVE ADJUST or ADJUSTING VALVES.... here's a very recent thread on the subject: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=117349
Hopefully you are talking about how to adjust the valve lash... right?

Schneider Cams & Comp Cams are both good (VERY WELL KNOWN) companies... and like Mtcookson said, have them cut you a grind to your spec.... which also means.... DO RESEARCH ON WHAT GRIND YOU WANT.

We could spend hours and incredible amounts of bandwidth describing to you the “ins and outs†on L-6 cylinder heads and which is best for what application, Turbos and how to set them up, Engine management, etc, (all of which has been covered in great detail on this forum already and can be read about using the search feature).
Wait... you mean this has been asked about 1 trillion times before?

18lbs isn't much... I really REALLY doubt you did any damage to the gasket.
-
Speco... that just sounds stupid. How about a price? Is there a reason you don't stick w/ a name brand like... Autometer?
-
That is one damn ugly ass car.

The list goes on and on and on... Anyway... swap in a short summary:
-Yank out both motors / ecu harnesses
-Drop in the L28ET to your car
-Swap ecu harnesses
Ta-da!

Hey! That's my Haynes manual you are prostituting!

??? optional...the 280zxt chopper wheel works just fine.
And you've had "personal experience" proving that? Interesting... because the holes are different & they don't give the same signal to the ecu...
-
You do not need the chopper wheel from the Z31 distributer (optional).
Oh really... how is it "optional" ???
-
I guess the general thought are that this wouldn't be a good idea then?
Here's another thread that references the n/a swap: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=116623
Another reference of doing an n/a swap: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=686973#post686973
It can be done, but it involves tons of rewiring. You will have to cut all the 280zx ecu wires, trace them to where they should go on the Z31 ecu & re-connect them all... It's not a horrible job, just very time consuming compared to other do it yourself stand alone instalations. It's very easy to do on the 280zxt because the ecu connections are the same as the Z31 & the ecu's are programmed similarly.

Not too shabby brah!

DO NOT GET A NEGLEGENT DRIVING TICKET! 20mph+ over the limit.
it took my insurance from 50 to 120.....and they almost dropped me for good. damn R1 gets me into so much trouble with the cops. it's worth it though.
I got a 102 in a 65... my insurance statement just shows "speeding ticket."

USAA is great, if you or your parent were in the military, then you should deffinitly try to get it. If they have a good year, they'll actually send you money back instead of enrichining the pockets of the president.
Werd... USAA FTMFW!!!

There is such a thing as electrical cleaner... it's like brake cleaner. Can be found at your local parts store, or hardware store.
-
Prolly 3 complete Z cars in the attic of my garage (minus the shell).

Why not shop around & find out?
Check AutoZone / Checker / Kragen / NAPA / Pepboys / PartsPlus / Ebay / any other local parts shop. Compare prices and then you will know.
RE-Using metal head gasket
in Nissan L6 Forum
Posted
I don't think you can safely re-use an MLS headgasket. There are "crumple zones" (for lack of a better term) that are pressed flat when you torque down the head. They stay compressed even when you remove the head, and the gasket isn't as effective the second time around.
