anythat has done a trany swa[ from at to many how do i get the trany switch for the auto to turn off ???????????????

What do you mean it's acting like it's in gear? The starter won't engage at all?

  2.

Please don't take offence to this Gollum' date=' because I think NOS is a very reliable power source. Who cares if it is a on and off power that runs out, it’s sorta like gas but perfect to run a sleeper.[/color']

I think I just might go NOS, because it would be the perfect way to get rid of turbo lag indefinitely and Keep drivability. I think I even have a nos bottle laying around from my V8Z that I never got around to hooking up. Hey thanks for reminding me!!!

So ya just gunna hook up a bottle n spray eh? That's how people melt pistons.... Be sure to post pics of the damage. icon10.gif

  3. iam stoked on your clean ass setup nismo super sick cleannnnnn turbo driven :)

The reason... my L28ET has 2300 miles in 3 years... only driven on nice dry days, and when it's running right. DOH!

That manual rack should fit just like the power rack. I doubt there would be any mounting/hook up differences.

  4. Standard boost on those cars won't show much over 0psi at full throttle. After I put a K&N filter on and ran the boost up I get around 3psi now. Didn't want to go any higher I just like blowing off the kids in the civics with big pipes and a fin. If you are still running stock intake trash it. I used a three inch exhaust elbow with a brace welded on to a convenient bolt and then bolted on a K&N filter. Set up works good and the car is pretty fast. They also needed a bigger pipe out the back.

WTF??? Sounds like YOUR turbo has a problem too... like evildky said: stock boost is 5-7psi. Attached is what the 280zx TURBO factory service manual says about the turbocharger. If you do the math of converting mmHG to PSI... you get 6-7psi.
