I've got a bit of a situation. I have this car : (1968 triumph spitfire)
with this engine going into it (nissan KA24de , fully built with Holset hx35 turbo) :
The problem is...the stock rear end sucks. I'd ideally like to elimnate the transverse leaf spring setup, convert to coilovers, and a stronger diff. I'd also like to throw something with a double wishbone suspension in there. I've toyed around with the idea of throwing in a miata subframe with lsd (8 inches wider track then stock) , or the heavy JAG irs. Last week on CL, there was a 74 spit that had a 280Z rear end swapped into it. What do you guys think as something that't not going to be horrendously expensive? I've already accepted the fact that this is an expensive endeavor, but i dont want it to cost any more than it has to. thanks for the input.

I'm a store manager 45 hours a week, do personal training for an additional 10-12. If you consider preparing for a bodybuilding competition work, then that's an additional 4 hours per week. Somewhere in there, i find time to go to school for exercise therapy.

For my turbo ka build, i'm pondering if i should upgrade to larger injectors (680cc?) or add another injector and use an AIC? What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks

my god. any attraction i ever had for her was lost upon seeing that last picture.
at first glance, it looks like a grapefruit is trying to escape, but i guess it's supposed to be the crowning head of her son.
Strotter - it had to be the conceiving position. the irony of this sculpture is that she had a c-section
edit: LOL i just showed that to my mom, she says it looks like a giant turd.

I was looking forward to the final product as well. I'm sure i'll attempt something just as unique and overpowered in the near future when school is done.

Thanks to all those who've spent their time helping me out. I think i'm going to be done with datsuns, and cars in general for a while, until i get some things straightened out. Building cars isn't my biggest priority right now. Thanks for understanding.

I'm going to need a partial firewall and transmission tunnel done relatively soon, and cant afford to pay what some guys are asking. if you'd be willing to do it for a reasonable rate, please send some info my way. thanks.

I'm looking at a painless 12 circuit harness for my 510/ls1 swap, but i also see that summit has their own kit that's quite a bit cheaper.
Has anybody had any experience with either of thesE? Or both?
Your input would be helpful.
edit: i also just found this one on ebay, "Its a Snap" 21 circuit for $134.95. Looks decent? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Universal-21Circuit-wiring-harness-Its-so-painless_W0QQitemZ4628892051QQcategoryZ10076QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

ls1 z, thanks for the offer. i might take you up on the pushrods for the right price, but i already bought a set of springs and titanium retainers.
unfortunately, i dont have a way to get my motor down there, but do you have a valve spring compressor, and something to stop the lifters from falling down while the cam is out, that you'd be willing to let me borrow?
also, do you do ecu tuning?
thanks.
