I had the vapor locking problem in my 77. It was as simple as taking the rubber seal off of the gas cap!! After a fuel pump, injectors, and draining and dropping the tank, I figured that out.

I know that I did the 4x4 swap calipers on mine... and it doesn't stop very well at all. I would like to look into a new set up, But just don't have the $$$$ right now.

I better get on more and start making friends. Only one I know of is Eric with the turbo LS1 Z.

That's awesome that half of you guys have supportive wives or girlfriends. The one's that don't... the hell with them. You'll find yours. I've only had one ex that actually helped out with oil changes, breaks, cleaning and what not. If they didn't help, that sure respected the fact that it was my pride and joy and if they knicked it, scratched it or anything they got the look of "oh ♥♥♥♥, i hope he didn't see that" on their faces.

My ex couldn't handle it. Z cars are my passion, I love building them. If she wasn't yelling at me for working on it on my days off, she was telling me whatever I did didn't look good and I should do it differently. ... I ignored her for a year, and then it got annoying because it wasn't just my car she was nagging about anymore, it was my job, my school, everything it seemed like. Progression at its worst

Exactly what I think. They come into the relationship knowing exactly what i do and how much it means to me. But I also agree with Zeeboost, that you have to be able to balance what you love out. Girlfriend and car. I make time for both. I couldn't get enough when I saw my girlfriends face when I stared the car with Open headers. It was kinda nice driving around too, the exhaust notes tuned her out with all the " I hate this car, take me home now"

Wow. This car has me drooling, and is quite the motivation to get mine started. I have a 280 sitting in my garage that needs a turbo motor. I was thinking 2JZ though. Awesome build man! Looks great.

This looks good to me. I'd put this on my car, if it were smaller. I also like the "engineered to be feared" as well.

I found a Z that was posted on here, read up on it and it had S13 coilovers... Was curious if anybody knows where I can find some information on how to do this. Or if anybody has done it, if you have pics.

How much longer 'til you fire it?? I would love to be there!

Dude, I love reading this thread and looking at all the pretty work that you do... also, I do have a stock hood off of my 260Z, A cowl hood from my 240Z (needs to be touched up a bit) Or a hood off of my 280Z without the hood louvers. Let me know if you're interested we can work something out.

Hey all, Decided to Re-do my rear suspention, When i pulled my diff. to get some Heli Coils put in. Ever sense I ripped the rear end out while racing one day it's been all screwy and making noises in the back after I put it all back together. Found out i pulled the Threads out of the two bolts on the back of the diff. Decided while it's out, i'll clean everything up, sand blast what will fit, and paint it and put it all back together... Also, reading on one of the threads posted a while back, I found out I put my springs in the rear upside down. So I will flip them while I have everything apart. More pics, with more progress.

Awesome dude, i told my father about this and he's all over it, he wants to see it so bad, just like me! I can't wait to see this rolling on the streets! We can terrorize with our V8 Z's!

The piece that fits directly over the carb. is a production piece. i believe i got it from Auto Zone, actually. the hosing, i got from Home Debot. and it actually doesnt give it as much air as i'd like it to, the car hick ups and has trouble breathing when i punch it. So i might just put the regular air cleaner back on! Yes it is! i knew there were other Z's in town, but alot of the people like to keep them stock.... BLEH!!! My stock Z i really want to either build a 388 stroker, LS1, or SR20... possible even a VQ? but i need to figure that out before i start tearing into it

Started a lil less than a year ago. Bought it completly stock after wrecking my first V8 build into a kitchen! To whoevers interested, here are some pics!

Alright, its not that then, i have it as far as it'll go, i put it all the way in, had no pedal. messed with it inbetween and nothing. I'll have to pull everything out, make sure i got the right parts, and make sure im doing it right.
