  1. One more thing to consider, if it applies to your state, is that you will most likely have to meet emissions standards for car's year model. That is the way it is here in Texas.
  2. I just found the following link that answers everything, funny how that happens. http://www.zdriver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15404
  3. a good way to gauge this would be to check out ebay and see what they are going for. Off the top of my head for stock non turbo injectors, not rebuilt, could go for $10 each. On ebay right now there is a set of new injectors for $50
  4. My VW recently started doing this; I found the problem to be oil finding its way into one of the cylinders and fouling a plug so bad it would misfire. Hope this helps, and is not your problem since I am headed for a complete rebuild.
  5. I have done some searching but have not found what I am looking for. My question is this; what, if any, are the differences between a non turbo L28E from a 75-78 280Z and an L28ET from 81-83 280ZX, other than the pistons? Keep in mind I am just asking about the block and internals, not the head, manifolds, or air/fuel delivery systems.
  6. If you still need this part I may have one from my 75 parts car. Send me an email at pzofsak@hotmail.com

  15. That's a really creative way around trying to find a replacement for the OEM light, which almost always cracks over time.
  16. What rear vent are you referring to? Model, year, hvac system, etc.?

  19. I have one from a 75 if you are interested.
  20. I have the black interior from a 75 280 if you can use that, its not perfect but like you said you will be modifying it. email me at pzofsak@hotmail.com
  21. I agree, I think its a cool idea but I personally like the racer style setup of the dash in the 280 with the individual pods. Of course, a ka or sr swap would make this more practical. Having owned two 240sx I always found the dash to be a little bland and looking like it was not completely thought out in the design phase. Maybe a dash that has more style or functionality could be done and allow everything to work as it should.
  22. I have the mustache bar and drive shaft from a 75 280Z if that will work.
  23. I found this link to the photo gallery on the vildini website. Looks cool, maybe not $$$$ cool. http://www.vildinimotorsport.com/i/Gallery/Pages/JOEL_-_240Z.html#21
  24. right now I am just looking into the rear fenders, I am not much of a fan of the square headlights. Thanks.
