put an adequate resistor inline where the bulb for the sidemarkers used to be. don't know if that will solve your problem, but that's the correct thing to do for the sidemarkers

F54 block with flat top pistons
N42 head with stage IV schnieder cam
stock roundtop SUs
MSA 6-1 exhaust
open header
no high RPM vids 'cause this was right after i replaced the head and it was still breaking in. i will get more vids with the MSA 2.5" exhaust bolted up with the super turbo muffler

first off - welcome to the site! you have big plans for that there RLS30
second off - there's a lot of questions in there! as far as the rear end, suspension, and brakes, there are currently a couple threads open about each of those topics. sounds like you're looking to DRIVE that car, so i'd recommend some big discs at all 4s, at LEAST an R200 (there is another thread right now that is discussing other rear ends for more durability), and suspension is going to be quite a beast to tackle. maybe some big sways, coilovers, etc.?

Hi Mike:
No answers, but a suggestion...
Someone already does an IRS Ford 9 inch for Cobra Replicas. Now I know that it has inboard disk brakes, but that shouldn't be insurmountable - either modify floor pans or do a conversion w/o the inboard disks...
My reasoning is simple - the Ford 9 inch is the strongest out there with a wide variety of ratios available - why bother with anything less?
Of course, this is JMHO....thrown out for cussin' and discussin'...
that's what i was thinking... like a quick change domestic IRS.
i saw a 510 with a jaguar IRS setup.... inboard discs, though
EDIT - bojo beat me to it!

whoa, upgrade to AT LEAST a dual core, get a 64 vista system up and running. BIG diff.
what are you doing for cooling? if you're OC'ing your vid card and sealing the case in an enclosure, case temps are gonna get pretty hot. if it were me, i'd run a liquid cool system with an external radiator

^ but unfortunately the taurus fan will not work with the L6 without major modification (read it in another thread here)
i definitely like the 2x10 setup, and now that i know it will fit on the radiator....
-
I think it's the pressure plate to be exact.
aahhhh yess.....
-
sorry for reviving a 2 month old thread, but i would like to confirm that the 16" fan will fit on the stock (240)Z radiator, because i heard conflicting information.....?
EDIT - i'm pretty sure the answer is YES it does fit, because i read it in another thread.

the length of the throwout collar is dependant on the clutch. if the clutch is for a 280, you need the 280 throwout collar
i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong, but that is correct to the best of my knowledge

ought to be a sweet setup! BTW, i have friends in saskatoon

i think i need to change my pants. good luck on sourcing an S20!!

A nice look to be sure, but it definitely puts a dent in your ground clearance.
ground clearance is for "suckas"
oh ya, and KILLER!!
-
if it's a direct replacement for 1157, P&P
-
not that that isn't rediculously beautiful, but does anyone know why someone would do this?
-
^ditto what prox said. sealing is the deal maker/breaker.

I know the way it goes in auto forums (search, keep searching, bang your head on the table and read a book, then search, finally ask a question).
hahah, if that ain't the truth.....
anyway, just let me know when you're ready to part with that turbo motor.....
gaah! i'm always on CL! how did i miss that?!?
oh ya, and WELCOME!
